If you value getting necessary medication without being treated like a crackhead, I highly recommend you go somewhere else.
They refused to refill a medication early. I had been getting these meds a few days early for YEARS. I literally cannot sleep without it so due to that I've always been proactive in case something happens that prevents me from filling my prescription on the date.
So now suddenly because I've also been described an ADHD medication, which is a controlled substance, they won't release the other medication early - I can go without the ADHD medication, but I am virtually non-functional if I don't get the other one.
So of course the inevitable happened. I work night shift, sleep while the pharmacy is open, and have little to no window to get the meds myself. I send someone in to get it for me, and naturally, they only fill the ADHD medication that I can live a few days without, but completely failed to fill the scrip for the one that I cannot sleep without.
Called out of work the instant I got home and saw only the ADHD medication there. Eight hours of PTO down the drain, and my entire evening reduced to crap because I won't even be able to sleep a single hour tonight. The withdrawal will leave me feeling flu-ish with an enormous headache until I refill the medication.
You may ask why I'm telling the entire story like this, but imagine this scenario happening with something far more essential. If you have chronic health conditions that require regular medication I wouldn't trust my health with these people. I'm just lucky the only thing I'll be missing is sleep and some PTO I had banked for later. There are other people who have probably been left off far worse because of this stingy, paranoid behavior from a location slavishly bound to useless protocol that makes everything difficult for regular people because the War on Drugs is nothing but a scam that screws over people who legally need medication to function.

If I could give no stars I would. I visited this store on Saturday 12.2 @ 8:11 or so to purchase cough drops. I purchased a bag that cost 3.99 per the sign however it rang up 4.19. I tell the cashier that’s not right and the reply was they are on sale buy on get one. That made no sense why it was .20 cents more but whatever; I say okay can you charge me for another bag I’ll pay and grab the other. The cashiers response was no can you just grab the other bag. I grab the and then take a pic of the tagged price. I go up and say can you just ring up the guy that was waiting and I wanted to address the overcharge. He said no and scanned the other bag and I said here is a picture it’s not ringing up right. I got a reply of here is what my screen says and I say that’s fine but your tag says something else. I advised I wasn’t gonna argue of .20 cents but it’s wrong and was meet with a there is nothing I can do response. So Rite Aid do you agree that is ripping customers off. If you sell 100 bags of coughs drops for .20 cents over the price do you make a profit? This is exactly why I choose to shop at Walgreens. The service here is awful a d bias.

Just horrible. Went next door to the urgent care had it sent over. Went in there almost two hours later. Had a whole meal at ruby Tuesday. They tell me it will take an hour yet to fill the RX. Then the lady, Indian/middle eastern/se Asian lady. Just so you know who I’m talking about Rite Aid. Has a real attitude problem. I’m not doing justice to how bad this was but I wasted enough time because of rite aid today. Walgreens or CVS. Don’t go here

The ratings speak for themselves.. the front cashier guy with the short brown hair is impatient and not well mannered when checking out. The pharmacy is great though.

I’ve never felt so awkward or uncomfortable as I did tonight. My family all uses the same phone number for the rewards and it’s connected to my mom’s email. Now that they started the “print, email, or both” choices when you pay, I always choose print because my mom does not need to know every single time I buy something at rite aid. (I usually go to Polly Drummond which I love but was getting takeout next door to this one tonight). Well the cashier was extremely unfriendly (5/9 around 8:30pm). I didn’t have service there and was trying to FaceTime my mom to see exactly what she wanted but it wouldn’t work. That’s fine, it’s Verizon that sucks (lol). When I went to pay, I was just making conversation, not complaining in the slightest, literally in just like a friendly voice I said wow I haven’t been getting any service here right now and he said verbatim “that’s not our problem.” I was not complaining (obviously cell service has absolutely nothing to do with a business) but that was really uncomfortable and awkward. Then when the “print, email, both” came up he said click email we’re trying to save paper. I told him it’s connected to my moms email and that I don’t want her getting receipts for things I pay for. He continues to tell me to click email 2-3 times and I said well can I just not get any type of receipt and in an attitude says “no there’s only print, email, or both.” I clicked print and he acted like I committed a crime! Never will be back to this one as this was extremely uncomfortable, uncalled for, and awkward. I’m all for saving paper but you need to say something along the lines of “can I encourage you to choose the email selection to save paper?” and not berate/judge/act unreasonable towards someone that simply does not want an email receipt. I guess I now also highly suggest a “no receipt” option as well.

The staff didn't give me medicine because the birthday of my insurance card was wrong, but my ID's birthday was right! It takes time to change the insurance card information, I waited for hours and my teeth are sore and inflamed! If it's more serious, I want them to take the law!
