I am a captain on an offshore tugboat. I reached out to the Seamen Center of Wilmington, because I did not have a way to get my crew to the grocery store. Christine was very helpful and facilitated getting everybody to and from the grocery store with all necessary provisions. She also provided large cooler bags and grocery bags. Really appreciate her assistance!

Just arrived in Wilmington. Definitely the least convenient Seaman's club so far. Crew work 8-5 ordinarily with half days on Saturday and Sunday. The seaman club only offers rides and services until 4pm?Normally all crew are dying to get off at 5-6pm to go shopping, stretch legs, do sports. If you're going to volunteer for a good cause, at least take our timetables into account. Useless service for 90% of crew

An opportunity to get involved with the Christmas at Sea project. What better way to show appreciation to those who navigate the oceans and say thank you.

If you are picking up freight here and have never been, expect to pay $30 for a visitor day pass, then another $99 cash escort fee.
