The check out process could have room for improvement. For instance if you go to any other grocery store the cashier stands on the other side and not the same side as you.

I hate that this is the cheapest and closest grocery store to me because I don't want to continue giving them my money for the way checkout is run. Every customer is treated as if they're stealing. The cashier assisted checkouts are pointless and awkward. The self checkout only has half the registers open because they're so afraid of theft. They're losing more in customers not coming back than they would to have more registers open. The second something hits the scale on the self checkout and tilts a bit, the transaction has to be verified by a completely unhelpful and grouchy woman. She watches the video of you scanning the item to make sure you're not stealing. To the general manager: get off your high horse and open more registers, and stop treating your customers as criminals. It really is a shame because the quality and value of the products is top notch. But I can't give more than one star because the checkout process voids all the benefits.

Disrespectful employees. I’ve been coming to this store for years and won’t be back. This store has gone down hill. I was scared for my life after an employee yelled at me in front of everyone over the self check out. That man should be fired. I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. You clearly don’t want to work there but be mean to customers. This isn’t the first time this man has had an attitude with me along with many other customers I’ve seen in the past. Sorry you have such a sad life. You make your own choices. Change it- if you’re unhappy.

The employees are great. Selection is good. But, the self-service checkout needs improvement. You cannot do self checkout until 8:00 am. There are long lines to checkout on Sunday mornings.

Great place if you enjoy waiting more time to ring up the items you selected and cash yourself out than you spent in the store.

This store is very neat and well put together. It was extremely easy to find everything that I needed. I was having a bad day and a sales associate by the name Renee really uplifted my spirit with amazing customer service skills. This is my new go to grocery store.

You have an app with a scanner that doesn't work because you need to download a second app with a second scanner in order to get the deals they provide in the store you're already in. Intentionally convoluted, intentionally overpriced. Not designed to help the customer. Tried to ask the employee for assistance, they didn't care whatsoever.

The store is nice but the checkout experience is awful. To get past the cashier it's necessary to touch them because the space is so small. Hello COVID. Customers are now next to the cash drawer which seems wrong. I don't think I will be doing weekly shopping there but will stop for items. Yesterday only one self check out with a belt was open which makes no sense. Why close self check out lanes? To end this, my cashier was nice but VERY SLOW AND CLUELESS. The GM just stood there and watched as my frustration grew. This is not the first time my cashier was clueless. It's quite frustrating.

The most organized ShopRite I've ever been in. Will definitely go the distance to shop at this location.

First time I've been here in a very long time. Usually we go to the Shoprite store in Wilmington, but since this one was our old neighborhood, we knew the layout of the store.Or, at least we thought we did. They have completely renovated this store and we were just as lost as we were in the store downtown. They carry a lot of specialty items, particularly ethnic brands and that's good. Everyone needs to be a little more adventurous culinarily. The problem is that they've moved everything around so much that you really have to look at things to figure out where a similar item is located. Example: the wife is in the mood to make a big dish of pasta goodness this weekend and we needed particular ingredients. You'd think that fresh mozzarella would be with the specialty cheeses...right? Nope. It was all the way on the other side of the store near the yogurts. They've done away with the nice large deli department in exchange for cut and grab bundles. Seafood section was still nice. They now have the majority of the dairy department behind cooler doors. It's not the same grocery store that's been here all of these years, but the only constant is change.

NO, Zero, Zilch cashiers. ALL registers are Self-Checkout. If you want an employee to check you out (since I dont see anyone offering to pay you for doing the work of a cashier), you will need to go to the service desk with your cart full of purchases. I cannot believe ShopRite has the audacity to charge the prices they do, then make you pay for the bags to put your purchases in, AND, ON TOP OF ALL THAT, they THEN want you to work for them for FREE by EXPECTING you to scan all your purchases AND pay for your groceries. PLEASE Give Me a break. At least DOLLAR GENERAL and DOLLAR TREE still employ people to check you out, AND they DO NOT charge you for the bags necessary to carry your PURCHASED items out to your car!!!!
