Very nice place with helpful nice employees, but I only gave three stars because some of the bottles of liquor I buy I can get much cheaper at places I drive right by in delaware.

This is a love/hate type area. I love going into the store. I absolutely HATE the parking. Get there super early, like when they open to save your car from being in the bumper car show. The lot is waaaaaayyy too small for the amount of traffic that goes in and out of there. Dangerous to say the least because drivers today could give 2 craps about anyone's safety when walking in the parking lot. No one pays attention.
But the store is very well kept, they always have experts on hand who knows their stuff and can make great substitutions if something is out. Definitely a go to spot if you're seeking some good drink and looking to stock up.

Drove my 92 yr old parents to get some blueberry wine for my mom.
Dad went in and came out $75 later and 2 bottles of blueberry wine short.
I called and your employees did nothing to replace the wine totaling $29.
My parents have been in there often and it was disappointing to know that you don’t stand behind your lack of customer service.
I asked them to review the camera footage and it would prove that dad didn’t get all that he paid for!
I would like to come in and view the footage personally.
If they thought that I was trying to get over on them..why would I ask for the footage to be viewed that would prove that they did not give dad the 2 bottles of wine.
Seriously..you need to make good on this.

Overpriced. Corporate experience isnt worth it. Ive had a mixed bag of experiences there, including rude comments from employees. Been led to the wrong aisle for products they didnt even have. Some of tthem will offer to help you to your car with large purchases if you need. But for me, I prefer a smaller, more local friendly operation. You dont need to go to "liquor walmart" to find a good, safe to visit, liquor store. Food for thought.

I'm really disappointed with the Total Wine rewards program. It promotes becoming a Grand Reserve member with promises of access to rare, exotic whiskeys, but it feels like a bait-and-switch. You have to spend a lot just to earn points, yet after weeks of waiting for priority access, you receive an email saying you missed out on everything, even the lower-tier bottles. Why make us rank bottles that we don't even get. At least give grand reserve members a cheap Weller or Blanton's. Oh but they are limited!! Says who? Total wine has the purchasing power to do whatever they want. They choose to screw you!!!! How many grand reserve members could there be?? You can't give them anything!!!!? The whole program is a fake promise and a lawsuit waiting to happen. It's a disgrace and bad business. Promise loyal members and don't deliver.
It would have been easier to just buy what I wanted online. The whole program seems like a scam, and it's disheartening to see that Total Wine doesn't care about their customers. I'm done with them and recommend supporting local businesses instead.

We stopped here on our way to Longwood Gardens. Decided after our visit to call it "Less than Total Wine" as it is a small store and they didn't carry 2 wines that I've purchased at other Total Wine stores and they were out of stock on a 3rd. 🤨
