I got a pedicure the day before and the “gel” polish chipped. I went here to get it fixed and the owner tried to charge me $30 to fix it. He was very rude to me and his customer service was disgusting.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I was asked to pay before receiving service, and I was the only person in the store who had to do so. As the only black person present, I felt singled out and disrespected by this treatment. Please do not come here, especially if you’re black !

I’ve gone to this nail salon for years. Katie was my favorite. Until oneday I went to get a mani and pedi. Katie asked me to sit at the pedicure station. As I sat in the chair a white woman came in belligerent and angry demanding a pedicure. All the other spots were taken including the seat I was in. You know of all the white peoples getting their feet done, Katie came up to me and whispered in my ear if I could let this “crazy woman” have my seat so they can hurry and get her out their salon. She whispered jokingly and already having a rapport with her and years of hearing stories of her husband and daughters, I felt in a sense like I had to, to be nice, and to also not appear as the difficult black woman. Isn’t that something, a white woman came in screaming and hollering and yet I have seconds to decide if my saying no I’ll keep my seat, would make me appear to be the problem. It’s a crazy world we live in. I decided to move and sit in the manicure chair to get my nails done first instead of my pedicure which I was looking forward to, all so they could appease this white woman who didn’t even have the decency to show decorum in their establishment. They began gossiping about the woman in their language and kept looking at her and sucking their teeth about it. And yeah that’s all well and good they never took a second to think how I felt, a paying customer of years, but by then I saw all I needed to, including how they speak badly of their own customers.
Some days I kick myself for getting up. It’s so sad, but true… they too value whiteness more than anything and I should have known better. I will be going to black owned nail salons from now on and if you are of color I would suggest you do the same. I’m sure oneday I will tell my grandkids about the day I too was asked to get up for a white woman. By another minority group at that!!! Maybe they feel more white than us so that gives them the right to treat us any kind of way be it or corner stores, Chinese stores etc, you would think they would actually show compassion. Relate in a sense. I wish I could tell my future grand kids that I never got up but it’s a lesson learned that’s for sure. I will never again go to this place. I’ll never let a person tell me twice that I’m not wanted.

i literally just left the salon, very unprofessional didnt even try to make conversation with me, tried to charge extra for a different shape... and the nails speak for themselves..smfh waste of 45$

I used to love coming here. The older woman who works there is very nice and squared away. However when I walked in today, the girls were rolling egg rolls on the nail counters. The TV was playing at the same time as one of the girl's phones playing a tv show. It was just a lot of noise and didn't feel relaxing. To make matters worse, the girl who did my nails seemed like she couldn't be bothered with me. The nail tools she was using did not seem clean. If she dropped them on the floor, she continued to use them. She had some sort of blue substance under her nails that whenever she touched the towel, it got on. I hope the owner reads this and improves the place because it does have a lot of potential, but as of now I want to go somewhere that feels more relaxing and sanitary if I'm throwing down $100.

Katie was very unprofessional and rude. My nail was sensitive when she was filing it from an odd angle and I told her that it is hurting. Instead of being a little gentle she threw the filer on the table and walked away saying ' Do it yourself'. Never going back and not recommending anyone to use their service.Service: Manicure
