Your app SUCKS!! I pre-reserved online got a reservation number the day before, when I arrived NO RESERVATION!! WASTED TIME!! Half hour to do it ALL AGAIN!! Very disappointed and YOU CHARGED ME THE INSURANCE that I did NOT request it was added to my bill for a local trip under 40 miles! I would like a refund

I requested a truck close to my house, friday before pickup they change the site all the way in the inner city. 8 mile difference which increased my bill. 2nd the truck was on empty, the person did not go out and check. She was the only person at the gas station and it took her 45 minutes to get me checked in due to fact she kept stopping and waiting on customers as they came in the store. It was a terrible experience.

As stated by other reviewers on this and other sites, this location does fraudulent transactions and add on charges. Do not rent from them! And beware of your reservation being transferred to them after placing it with another location. "Appy", the woman who represents this location, will gloss over any questions especially regarding charges and tell you "everything will be in your receipt". After specifically being told you do not want insurance (Safe Move) and when asked about fuel her referencing they are a gas station so no need to worry about the gas, they will charge you for the insurance and instead of their $3.19/gal. pump price, charge you $4.75/gal. "per the agreement". She was unable/unwilling to print out the agreement or the receipt and I had to enlarge a screenshot of it from the app to see what she had done. I was warned against using them and specifically placed my reservation with Brian at the 2909 Lancaster Ave. location only to have it transferred to this fraudster the day of pick up. This reflects badly on UHaul as well and I made that clear when I made a formal complaint at the 800 468-4285 customer care line. I will look at Penske and other competitors first in the future. In the meantime, I strongly advise all not to rent from this gas station/ghetto bodega.

Attempting to drop off truck but employee will not accept unless he’s personally given $20. My mother came from Florida with this truck and was instructed by the individuals at that FL location to drop it off at this specific location in Wilmington . I’ve never heard of them needing an additional “$20 to close out the truck”. Seems like he’s trying to scam and profit more . This is disgusting . Don’t waste your money or time doing business with these people .

This place is a joke. These people are unprofessional. The gentleman was very rude and kept talking to other people at the same time. He then said i should book online and when i asked if he can just give me a quote he hung up the phone on me.
