These people will literally ship your package anywhere except for to you. First they sent my package to Colorado. Now I have a package that has been sent to Florida. I’m considering putting myself in a box and shipping myself to the Wilmington USPS Distribution Center for a little surprise vacation and see where I end up! If they ship me somewhere nice I may consider changing my review…

My visa had to be mailed back via USPS, along with my passport and State ID inside the package as well. Thankfully, it wasn't lost in the blackhole that is USPS in-transit, but was delivered a day late, and sat at this distribution center for a few days. There was no delay with any other transit center except this one, and a post office can't afford to have negative reviews, especially since USPS handles time sensitive documents like passports.

My package was delivered to this distribution center and was supposed to be delivered 6/27. They ended up shipping my package to SAN FRANCISCO, CA instead of my home. How does this even happen? And calling the main customer service number gets you a very bored sounding person that gives no assistance whatsoever.

Terrible, terrible location
No where to park and forget of you have mobility issues; parking is behind on the side of the Post office.

I live in location 19801. I know this area is not very well known. But until today, all the cargos have arrived at my house completely. Only the ones from USPS are lost for some reason..))

In all my 47 years, I’ve never encountered a post office that opens late—until I visited this location. Scheduled to open at 7:00 AM, the doors didn’t open until 7:11 AM, thanks to a staff member who seemed in no rush to get the day started. Even after the doors finally opened, there was no one at the desk to assist customers.
The cashier, who was visibly unhappy with her job, always demonstrate her disdain by sucking her teeth, rolling her eyes, and all of the extras, I am always so disappointed when I see she’s who I have to interact with. Today she disappeared to the back without a word, leaving everyone waiting. When I mentioned reporting this to employee who opened, he sarcastically replied, “Have fun!” and walked alongside of me snickering as I let him know he’s lazy and should find a job he want to actually do. I suspect he knows it’s not so simple to file a formal complaint, which may be why he was so dismissive. I have time today though.
I ended up leaving without being able to conduct my business at the post office this morning. I have a job that I’m responsible for reporting to on time, and unfortunately, I can’t be late performing my duties because your employees, who are already on their job and being paid, don’t want to service the customers they’re supposed to.
I’m not sure where to begin initiating a formal complaint, but I will start with the Postmaster General and go from there. This cannot continue to happen. At the very least, the post office needs to open on time, and customers deserve to feel respected.
This location desperately needs employees who actually want to work. The unprofessional behavior I experienced here is unacceptable, and it's the reason I’m switching to a different post office. The employees’ failure to open on time and provide service is disappointing, especially from such a central USPS location. It’s sad when the public can’t rely on service from the nation’s largest mail service provider. I hope improvements are made soon. Just look at your reviews, full of complaints. What are you doing about the issue because the nature of our complaints are consistent. Or, do you not care because you’re operated by the federal government?

Location service sucks. One or no agents to help you. The wait is always 30 minutes or more. You shouldn't have to wait this long at a downtown central business location. Go to another location if you can.

Awful place. Disrespectful staff and useless drivers. My package has been pushed back twice now by a couple of days even though it’s been ready for delivery since the start of last week. Go with FedEx if you actually want your packages delivered

You guys never answer the phone and make it impossible to hold your mail. When I call the number it tells me that using the app is easier but when I go to use the app it always says that holding mail or doing this or that isn't available. And yall don't answer the phone
