Been waiting on the same piece of mail since a Thursday and it is Monday it keeps sending me a picture saying it’s coming today but it hasn’t for 3 service days like what is the issue ???

The mail was registered through the post office (through informed delivery) that it had been scanned in. Three days worth of mail, never delivered. We went to the post master who said they can't find it. She said she'd ask the delivery driver if they knew where it was and would call us back. Never did call us. I chased down the delivery guy to ask if he had any of our mail. He just shook his head and said no, didn't offer to look, and looked highly unpleased that I was even talking to him. They lost my new debit card and hundreds of dollars worth of birthday and Christmas money. Continously has been negligent and we have no idea where any of our mail has gone now.

I typically don't write reviews but when I was looking for a nearby post office, I saw this location. I was nervous to go due to all of the horrible reviews, but it was a convenient location. I rarely go to the post office and when I do, it's for something simple like mailing a large envelope or buying stamps - this time I brought holiday gifts to ship. I found a box that was the perfect size, I put it together, filled it up, then went in line to ask if I needed to seal it up any particular way. The employee helped me put the box together in a safer way and get it taped up. She also provided me with a shipping label and a pen and gave me space on the counter to assemble everything. I'm sure I looked like a total idiot but she helped me and didn't make me feel stupid. I'm super grateful that such a nice person was working there.

The individuals who work at this post office are extremely incompetent. I have lived in this area for about 9 months now, and ever since I moved to DE I have been receiving other mail that isn't my own. I have reported this in person and over the phone, and nothing has been resolved. Today I walked up to the mail carrier as they were delivering the mail, and I explained the situation to them. I was told by this specific mailman that he was on vacation and that surely it wasn't him who was putting the wrong mail in my mailbox. As I open up my mailbox with the mailman standing beside me I find an envelope that doesn't belong to me that he had just placed in my box. This isn't difficult stuff people. My name is literally inside the mailbox to make it even EASIER to know who's mailbox it is. Grossly incompetent.

I try to avoid this office as much as possible, but sometimes it only makes sense to use if I’m already driving by, or so I would think. Even just trying to drop off a pre paid package has wasted a good amount of my time since the employees are ignorant and uninformed of their own rules posted on the USPS site. Never had an issue with any of the other 3 offices we use, but Marshallton employees have refused resized Priority (not flat rate)boxes. Packages dated from the night before (printed after closing) are usually refused also, and they typically try to make a drop off take as long as possible with no drop off section for boxes, and usually only one person working the front. Local drivers from there have been great for over 25 years I’ve dealt with them, but the counter personnel need some training or counseling.

I have tried 3 different times to ship 2 boxes. Everytime the computers are down, except the last time, computers were down & now short of staff. Going to Newport from now on. So frustrating. It also always happens after 3:00. ??♀️??♀️?
