Had a wonderful experience! I had to find someone new after my previous hair dresser started making ugly hateful remarks so this was my first time here. Stylist was welcoming and personable and responsive to my requests when I didn’t know what to do with my hair. I was a little concerned after seeing it blow dried out but once it dried with my natural texture I love it!!

I just moved to this area and was looking for a new local hair salon, and I decided to try this place after seeing the great reviews. These reviews were not lying! I got a full color and haircut with Marybeth, and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out! I got so many compliments. Everyone in the salon was also super friendly and we had a great conversation. Will definitely be returning!

When you move to a new city and you’re due for a hair appointment… just hope you are as fortunate as I was to find What’s On Top first. Great in all the ways that matter- friendly, clean, SKILLED, welcoming (really!) and very reasonably priced.

I never leave reviews, but today I just have too. I got the BEST haircut of my life here. Marybeth is absolutely amazing. I left there the happiest I have ever been with my hair. She is an excellent listener and made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing -- truly amazing experience and I will most certainly be going back there. Extremely professional and trans friendly hair salon. I am super happy with my cut and extremely fortunate to find a salon that is not only close, but safe. Will be recommending them to my fellow trans siblings and more. Marybeth was extremely friendly and I look forward to my next appointment.

I ADORE Marybeth!!! I started going to her in October and asked her for all over color. I’d been feeling pretty down and when I left I felt like a million dollars! I’ve been twice since then for my roots and she has good conversations while Sitting and waiting for my hair to process and I always leave feeling amazing!!! I can’t say enough amazing things about this salon!!! And the pricing can’t be beat too!!! ❤️❤️

Absolutely loved this salon. Marybeth cut my hair and did such a great job. I had asked to cut a lot off (close to 8in) and she made sure throughout the process that I was still comfortable with the chop. In love with the cut, I will absolutely be back (:

I love this hair salon!!! I was looking for a new salon since the one I always went to had to close because of COVID so I got on a local neighborhood app asking for some requests for a hair stylist. A lot of people recommended What's On Top. After checking a few salon web pages this salon just stuck out to me. I called for an appointment the gentleman who answered the was very polite and helpful. He asked a few questions as to what I was looking for and set me up with the owner Karen. The salon is very nice and clean. Is not a big salon I believe they only had three chairs but very welcoming and comfortable. Karen the owner is so nice and friendly. She makes you feel right at home. Actually all of the employees are very friendly. Karen asked me what I wanted and I showed her a couple of pictures from Pinterest for hair color and style. She brings out a couple of color samples and what she suggested would look nice together. Even the hair cut I wasn't 100% sure exactly what I wanted but she was so helpful. All I can say when Karen was done I loved my hair she did such a wonderful job. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. I will definitely be going back to What's On Top. I highly recommend this salon.
