Friday my younger brother and I went to check on our account that we have with our mother. Not knowing that someone had changed our account without our approval. We had check our joint a at the ATM in the bank and saw that the money was still intact, but when we asked the clerk why we couldn't get any of our money out nor make any purchases on the debit card, they didn't want to answer us. And told us to come with our elderly mother who couldn't even get around (thats why we had a joint account). But they claim even if she called for our account that she still might not get anything done about the situation! We were wondering why it was so empty on a Friday afternoon. I would advise everyone to go to another branch. We went to the better one where we live and the gentleman helped us with everything we needed. Uber was trying to steal from us so they had put a freeze on the account. That's all we needed to know.

I have been a customer of wsfs for over 12 years. And in more recent years they have completely changed. My account has had multiple fraud attempts as well as successes that have caused a lot of inconvenience. Though, I’ve stuck by the bank. More recently, my account was flagged again for fraud. Instead of being alerted, I was told by an associate that I am unable to now be alerted of that type of fraud and the only way for me to find it out is if i utilize the function available and it doesn’t work or i call. This bank has held my money up on more than one occasion and has not allowed me access. I am extremely hurt and disappointed in not only how I’m being treated as a long time customer, but also the lack of care and concern from the bank itself. No one should go through what i’ve gone through with MY money. and all the bank and the associates can say is “yeah i know”. Then why not try and fix the problem? This was the last straw. I’ve closed my account and reported to the BBB. This is absolutely ridiculous

Service is only found in their name. WSFS Bank has the absolute worst banking website and interface I've ever seen. The platform is not set up well, nor is it user-friendly. I'd say you'd be better off calling them, but the customer service agents have not been empowered by the bank to do anything but take payments. The phone tree system is antiquated and archaic. With so many mediocre banks to choose from, do yourself a favor and pick one with more than a 2 star rating. Don't take my word for it, reviews from every platform tell a similar story.The only positive thing to say about WSFS is that they were eager to lend. After the loan closed, the experience has been awful. I dread dealing with them and look forward to finding another bank.1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

Been to two locations listed as open. They closed at noon for service day. Would have been nice to have correct time posted online.

Your online security is complete garbage. It's not supposed keep your customers out. It's infuriating. My wife and I constantly need a code texted and have had multiple issues with passwords. Don't keep me out of my account because the "password is wrong", tell me to reset my password, and then tell me I can't use my current password when I type in the exact same thing again. Let your customers determine how much security they need for their money.

Mortgage team was a pleasant to work with especially Hoa Nguyen he was very professional and kind throughout the process. He got me to closing within 29 days. One bank declined me but wsfs approved me they will get the job done. He deserve 10 stars for doing an excellent job and being super supportive.

Honestly, WSFS is just the WORST since they've launched this growth campaign. The more banks they buy, the worse service gets. My debit card expires tomorrow, I've yet to receive a replacement. Payments are linked to that card - I'm sure they'll be more than happy to reimburse returned-payment fees as a courtesy. (((eyeroll)))Customer service (who was exceedingly patient and pleasant - my beef is with their bosses) suggested I visit a branch to obtain a replacement. Ugh, what a hassle. Guess I'll be visiting to change banks after 20+ years at WSFS.

Stay AWAY from this bank! They have little to no customer service. At one time WSFS was a good bank but those days are over. They locked my checking account for no good reason and never notified me of it. I found out when the bills I have on autopay didn't get paid and I got hundred of dollars in late fees not to mention the damage they did to my 843 credit score! It's been almost 2 months and they still are giving me the run around. It's been a nightmare dealing with bank. I can't wait until this nightmare is over. I will Never do business with this bank again! Kathy R.
