Dollar General Distribution Center offers a mix of experiences for truckers and job seekers. Appointments are necessary for deliveries, and there is overnight parking available for about 10 trucks, with a recommendation to arrive by 4 PM for better chances. However, facilities are limited, as there are only portable toilets and no vending machines on site. Unloading times can vary, but some drivers report quick turnarounds, especially for lighter loads. The staff is generally polite, but the center maintains strict policies regarding appointments, so it's important not to rush. For those seeking employment, the job fair process is straightforward, though some applicants report issues with follow-up communication. The overall environment is friendly, with a willingness to assist drivers and job seekers alike. However, there is a call for more opportunities for individuals with past mistakes, as this could help reduce employee turnover. Overall, Dollar General Distribution Center is considered a decent place for unloading and job opportunities, albeit with certain limitations.
Check in was quick, but does not do any good to get here early. Some parking here but limited

job fair was pleasant and simple. the interviewer said they would call... unfortunately due to spam, I screen unknown numbers. If they called, they did not leave a vm. maybe next time!

Got here a day early, checked in about 1900. Asked if they could work me in tonight, called me around 2130, gave me a door & was gone by 2215. I must say probably the best dollar general dc I’ve been to.
