Takes awhile since he's so busy, but he did good and was able to solve the issue. He's has been working on small engine repair for many years and his experience shows.

11/17/2023: Do not ever agree to pick up anything uhaul from this location. Went to pick up our truck tonight and the things behind a locked gate. Gate had combination lock on it, sign blocking drive, and no lighting to even see if there was a way to circumvent the gate. Wasted 45 minutes of my Friday evening.. Thanks Jack.Update 11/18/2023: Uhaul cancelled our truck because we were unable to pick it up. I had to wait for Jacks to open up and book it in person. Of course Jack had thr opinion I should have known the Gate wasn't secured because I am psychic. He did not pass those special instructions to Uhaul either so when I called them about the truck being locked behind a gate they were confused as well. Wasting another 45 minutes of my Saturday morning. Thanks again Jack.

Jack’s Small Engine company has done a great job supporting us before and after the sale. We purchased a large zero turn mower and robotic mower from them. Professional, hard working, and consistent.

Excellent experience. AC was on its last leg. They worked around a hurricane to get me my Mr Cool unit during my long weekend so I could get it installed. Love the unit and their service.

I bought a new Husqvarna saw and it needed a carb adjustment as the chain was spinning super fast at idle and adjusting the idle screw had no effect. Husqvarna rep said to find nearest authorized service center. Jack's was on Husqvarna's list so I called to see if I could bring the saw in. After explaining the symptoms and that saw only needed a carb adjustment I was told that 'adjustments' didn't fall under warranty and I would have to pay for any work. Husqvarna rep says the work is under warranty. Somebody is being less than honest.

I’ll start with I bought a brand new zero turn mower from Jacks Small Engine Repair about 1.5 years ago. I have used it maybe 14 times and a bracket and spring broke off causing the blades to not engage anymore. Since the mower was still under warrantee I had them pick it up for repair. With parts being back ordered it took them 2 months to replace the parts needed but in that time frame I was not given correct or informed updates and had to call weekly to see what was going on and was told 3 separate times “Let me look into it and call you right back”. Not once did i receive a call back. While it was in for the warrantee I told them to do any maintenance it might need, maybe a oil change and maybe air filter if it looked dirty. Since the mower is relatively new I would’t think any else would be needed. I was never given a estimate or even a general price range. When I went to pick it up I could tell something was off. After talking to Robin about the warrantee I was told the remaining total would be $329 (labor alone was $190). I questioned what all was involved with the Maintenance and was told they replaced the blades, spark plugs, air filter, and did a oil change. I could tell that just asking what was involved was irritating her and she just wanted payment and referred me to the guy that would bring around my mower. She looked surprised that I was paying with a card and said it would be a additional $12 fee to pay with a card, or no fee if I wrote a check. Food trucks don’t even charge for using a card and they are much smaller businesses, and who now a days carries around a checkbook? I was never given the price of any of this or asked if I wanted any of it done. After looking at other reviews this seems to be common practice here.Once my mower was brought around the guy said the blades were “shot” and handed me the spark plugs they removed and said they were “bad” and to “just look at them.” I have replaced spark plugs in my truck before and these looked fine and I had no engine problems before I brought it in. I asked if this was normal for spark plugs to be “bad” after 28 hours of use and he said “Oh, well you can probably get more use out of them then” and it was apart of the maintenance. These are all shady practices that this shop uses to take advantage of customers and provide poor service. I will not be going back here and do not recommend anyone else give them your business.

This was my first time using (Jacks small engines) and I am very satisfied with the results. I needed parts for my "TroyBilt" blower and Jacks had them. The delivery was spot on and only took three days from start to delivery. The price was also very good. I do my own repairs, clean and maintain my tools so when I need parts I will check with Jacks first..... TY !!

Giving one star only because I cannot give zero. Brought my generator here because it would run great on choke but when you switch over to run it would die out. I figured that would be a simple carburetor clean or something to that effect. Instead they call me with an estimate for almost $1000 which is more than the generator is worth new and rattled off a list of 20 things that I needed that all work fine including gas tank etc. That’s fine I paid my diagnostic fee and brought it home what really made me mad is after going home now it doesn’t even start. Never will go here again. Wayover priced they had the nerve to ask me if I just wanted to go ahead with the repairs or get the estimate first? Thank God I asked for the estimate first. Rip off artists.
