“I LOVED my experience at Ivy’s Bridal Shop. It was by appointment only and I felt like I was the priority and never once felt rushed. This was the 3rd shop I tried, and the one I found my dress in. Kylie ran my appointment and chose multiple dresses that fit the description I was looking for until we landed on the final one. She gave me dresses in my price range but ultimately (and thankfully) gave me the reality check that for the details I wanted, I would need to up my range and I am so thankful she explained that to me! The previous shops stuck to my range - but I couldn’t find what I was looking because I didn’t know any better! The size they measured for me was very close - close enough we could have skipped alterations and it wouldn’t have been too noticeable HOWEVER their partnership with Nini’s Thread Shop really sealed the deal and made all my dreams come true. Alterations made everything fit PERFECTLY and I had custom sleeves designed to really make this dress everything I wanted. I don’t plan on getting married again, but if I did - I’d come here for the best bridal shopping experience! Photos of day 1 trying on, my dress once it arrived, and final product after alterations and sleeves on my wedding day!”

“My dgt, Sarah, bought her wedding dress with the help of Heather and Meghan. There was no pressure to buy. Lots of helpful suggestions from Heather. Meghan actually wrote up the order and was so very careful to verify the information and sizing for the order. Lots of choices of dresses. Beautuful dresses especially in the princess style she loves. Heather told us to pick 5 dresses to try on . We had 4 dresses picked and Heather said pick one more. The 5th dress was the one we purchased. Heather knew what she was talking about and her expertise is appreciated. Great experience.”

Daisy assisted me in finding my dream dress, she was very patient, and determined for me to leave with my dress before heading back to New York. “There are not words to fully describe how grateful I am for the experience I had today at MDP Bridal Boutique, but I will do my best. Firstly, the store is gorgeous, clean, and inviting. Maria has great taste, and you can tell that she has carefully selected the absolute best women to help customers feel welcome, respected, and beautiful. My stylist, Sara, had me try on a few dresses, gave me the time I needed to sit with each of them and really figure out what I liked and what didn’t feel right for me, and THEN… she went on a hunt to find a specific dress that she knew I’d love. When she did find it and I put it on, it felt like it was made for me. After tears were shed and all was said and done, I found out three things: Maria del Pilar had designed my dress, my dress couldn’t be ordered in time for my wedding, and she decided to let me take this one home. Today. I have rarely ever felt so special and so cared for by a complete stranger. It is clear that Maria, Sara, and everyone there take pride in their work and put heart and love behind their actions. After going to 5+ bridal shops where the aesthetics didn’t match my vibe, Calvet was the shop where I finally was able to confidently pull a multitude of dresses that I actually loved and looked forward to trying on. A huge round of applause to this location’s purchaser, they nailed it! So many beautiful picks!!

On top of that, the service is top notch! Paige was the most patient, attentive, and sweetest stylist ever. She was not pushy, she was so kind, and can I reiterate that she was SOO patient. I was her last appointment and she stayed an hour after the store closed to let me try on everything I wanted to and not once did she rush me. On top of that, after finding my favorite dress she understood that I had to sleep on my decision to say yes to it and she was not overly pushy on making me buy it on the spot like other stylists at other shops.

The service alone made the experience 10/10, the fact that the dresses were my style and each one was more beautiful than the other was the cherry on top! Definitely found my top contender so far here!! ????”

“Sira worked miracles on my wedding dress. She completely took it apart and remade it to fit me properly. My dress was a size 8 (in the dress designer's chart, I was a 2 in the bust and an 8 in the waist, so an 8 was recommended) and she had to completely remake the bust of my dress so it could even be wearable. The dress was massive on me. My mom and I were so concerned the dress wouldn't be salvageable given the complexity and the extent of work required, but Sira saved it. The end result fit me perfectly and the integrity of the dress was not compromised at all - it ended up beautiful. She also made my mom her mother of the bride dress, which was beautiful as well. If I had known Sira existed when shopping for my wedding dress, I would have just gone to her and had her make me one from scratch. I bought my veil from her as well, which she hand-made and it was stunning. She is so talented! I would recommend her to anyone who needs wedding dress alterations or wants a dress hand-made for them - she is your girl!”

“This has been my go to store for all things gift, boutique and embroidery! I will sometimes find stuff around town and bring it here to get it monogrammed for an extra special touch on a gift. They are licensed to do a number of logos, including the business I work for and I take my polos here to have them embroidered with my company logo. The store is bright, clean and beautifully decorated, very inviting. Service is excellent, always with a smile and the extra special touch of every purchase being gift wrapped even if it’s for myself is nice, you don’t even have to ask. The owner is responsible and responsive and super sweet. I like to come back because I know that every time I pop in, my experience will be a good one. Go support them, awesome small business in the heart of downtown Orlando right across from the Orlando City Soccer Stadium.”

We drove an hour and a half, not knowing what to expect, and were extremely grateful for the hospitality and knowledge Asha shared with us.
