They guy at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. The registration on the rental was expired and after telling him, he had an attitude and stated there was nothing he could do to help. Told me to go to another location for help and that was all.

This is a franchise I have been a regular for years for a couple years that Carlos the owner is a greedy man I honestly wouldn't rent from him again I should have learned from last year when he charged my account $2,800 when he was notified 48 hours that the car was impounded and I thought he had it until it was reported stolen from the Avis app that he did not go pick up the car that I could not get out of impound because it was a rental. That $2,800 he charged my bank was legal it's in the contract but the fact that he was notified and left it there shows the type of person he is I honestly would not rent from him in case you have a hiccup he's going to extort you

The budget rental at Altamonte Springs provides a worse customer service experience. The Manager is rude. I was late by 30 minutes, and when I returned the key, the salesperson told me that I was within the grace period and would only be charged for a day. The following day they set me for two days; when I asked, the other person refused to do so and said that I am the Manager and there is no grace period.I have rented with enterprise so many times and never had such problems. Even the budget rental cars are not properly maintained as per my past four rentals experience with them at the Altamonte Springs location. I will also file a legal complaint to the customer service executive.

Read carefully. This rental is an absolute nightmare. Costumer service is beyond horrific. They will charge you so many things you don't need. Don't waste your time and money. Avoid this rental like a plague.

I took someone here to rent a car and the entire front of Embassy Suites where they are located inside the lobby of, is blocked by large green construction fencing. There's no signs to tell you to turn early and you have to drive around almost to the mall for a UTurn if you look further for an entry off the main road. Then if you turn at the first drive you come to, it looks like a quick left leads to the front of the hotel based on the decor, the abundance of handicap parking and entryway leading inside. But DON'T go there. You will come to a locked door requiring a hotel key card, no doorbell, and no phone number to ask where to go.Instead, you have to somehow know to drive past that and find a driveway into what looks like the back of the hotel. There's a way into the building there but I feel bad for disabled people coming here, who park in the disabled parking, get all the way to the locked entrance, only to have to guess where to go next. There's NO disabled parking on the entry side that is unlocked, so this i confusing, extremely inconvenient and not at all considerate of car rental customers. I'm not sure it's any better for guests when they first arrive. I gave it 3 also because I wasn't really impressed with the person checking her out and sending her into the unmarked parking lot for a the rental car scavenger hunt.

Stick with Alamo/ Enterprise. Budget’s policy on extending 1 day is unreasonable even with providing proper notice and returning the car on time on the extended day.

I have been using Budget at this location for over 2 years now. During the pandemic, the staff at this location were mindful of hygiene and safety and followed protocols. Before the pandemic the vehicles were always clean and well maintained. The service throughout my experience has been competent, professional and friendly. Now as we move forward, the standards i have come to expect have not changed. The whole process is efficient, and amiable.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. This was my first time renting from Budget. I chose them because they were close to where I was. I reserved a car for $64 and after adding insurance would have been $88. I realized that when returning the car that I was charged $119. When I asked about this the man simply said "that's the price" which was less than helpful. Also the airbag cover was hanging off and when I called to tell them they just said "that's fine, we'll add a note" also the car had a sticker saying it'd been cleaned, but when I dropped my phone under the seat I was greeted with a handful of what looked like Ritz crackers and gold fish. I rent cars fairly often, but I will never go here again.

The 3 stars are for the car because it was beautiful and rode like a dream. But yeah it's good to know other people were wondering what was up with Carlos, I thought he just hated me!

This guy (carlos)are so rude the car are not ready on time don't come to this location and fast track is not working don't sign electronically because they don't have it very bad I am waiting and still didn't get my car. He also accept other person before his time and denied who ever doesn't looks
