I've been coming to this Dollar Tree for years now, before it became a 5 plus or 5 and Up version. I usually find what I'm looking for and the people that work there have always been nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is in reference to the parking lot lighting.....even though it is a relatively safe area, after the store closes (or I'm guessing maybe even some time before that) I don't like that everything is just dark walking back to your car, especially when you're by yourself. I mean there's lighting from the store but that's really not enough. If there's any way for them to take that to the property owners.... maybe they (the property owners) can leave the parking lot lights "on" for an hour after the store closes for safety reasons out of respect to the customers and even their employees who have to stay to pick up any loose carts from outside.

If you aren't decorating your home for a holiday...Please pass this one by. They have a decent selection, that stays pretty well stocked even close to the holiday (unlike a lot of Dollar Trees) but outside of that, the electronics and cleaning supply sections are almost non-existent, tools section has exclusively $5 items and just a really strange lay out. Store is clean and well organized...just missing a huge selection of staple dollar tree items.

Dollar tree needs to go back to a dollar!!! So many mixed items you never know the price. And the scanner to check prices doesn't even work most of the time. Hopefully it goes back to $1

A Dollar Tree Enthusiast's Honest Review: The Good, the Bad, and the Frustrating Reality
As a dedicated Dollar Tree shopper, I frequent their stores as often as possible, always on the lookout for those elusive "special finds" often showcased on Facebook groups but seemingly absent from my local locations. Yet, undeterred, I keep trying!
Recently, while visiting friends in another town, I decided to check out a nearby Dollar Tree that was larger than those in my area. At first, I was pleasantly surprised. The store was clean, well-stocked, and far more organized than I’ve come to expect. However, what transpired next quickly turned my excitement into frustration.
Here’s the deal: despite having a single staffed checkout lane, it remained empty while four narrow, self-checkout stations struggled to manage the bustling flow of customers. The line stretched far down the aisle, and even when one cashier was finally called to assist, it barely made a dent in the wait time. While I understand the financial motivations behind self-checkout systems, they significantly detract from the overall customer experience—especially in stores like Dollar Tree, where efficiency and accessibility are paramount.
And if that weren’t enough, the store had no shopping carts available. This is a recurring issue across many Dollar Tree locations, where some stores even implement restrictive measures like poles to keep carts inside. For someone like me who frequently purchases heavy items—cases of soda, canned goods, and other bulk products—this makes shopping not only inconvenient but nearly impossible.
Dollar Tree has made significant changes in recent years, from increasing prices to merging with Family Dollar, which presumably boosts their revenue. Yet, these changes haven’t translated into noticeable improvements in customer experience, product quality, or even support for their employees.
To sum it up: while I’ll always have a soft spot for Dollar Tree, these ongoing issues—lack of carts, long checkout lines, and the decline in customer service—make me reconsider how often I’ll visit in the future. Dollar Tree, it’s time to listen to your loyal customers: we love the value you provide, but the shopping experience needs serious attention.
