The accounting team at Hot Topic manipulates the receipt to make it look like your $5 reward is deducted by applying it to what would be already BOGO free items. Love Hot Topic but just be cautious of their unethical accounting practices.

This store is always hard to shop in. It's too small and cramped. Associate said they had what I was looking for in the backroom, but she was by herself and couldn't get it for me so I ordered it online.

This was my first time visiting this Hot Topic from Pennsylvania as someone who lives in Florida for the winter.
My local friend recommended going to this location since I'm a regular at my Hot Topic at home and my friend said that this location is a very nice and big store. She was correct. I really loved the atmosphere, and the staff that was working on May 10th, 2025, was all very nice. When I asked for help to get a shirt down, the worker that helped me was very kind, and we had a little conversation about the band that was on the shirt that I now own. The store was very well kept, clean and plenty of walking room. I will definitely be coming back again next winter.

They take forever when you order online( to ship to the store). Never email if the order is ready( still says it’s preparing), but they called 3 weeks after I ordered and they only wait till tomorrow for me to pick it up. This already happened multiple times. Not only this location though. It’s probably this company has crappy system for online order.

I ordered some items online and called in ahead of time to find out where the store was located in the mall. The store clerk Lastat was very helpful in assisting me in finding the store and very pleasant when I arrived. It was very easy and fast.
