Rachel helped us this year file myself and my girlfriend’s tax returns. She was professional and provided excellent service.

I wanted to share my experience during my recent tax appointment. When I arrived, they were unable to locate my account, even though I had filed online last year. I had an appointment with Rachel, and while she was friendly, I felt she lacked confidence in handling my case, which made me a bit uneasy.
I still wanted to work with Rachel, so I shared that I had my W-2 and mentioned my investments and 1099 forms. I also asked if I could file for internet and electricity expenses since I work from home. Rachel had to consult with her manager, who informed me that I couldn’t file these deductions based on the information on my W-2.
However, I found the interaction somewhat unhelpful. The manager nor Rachel didn’t ask any follow-up questions about other potential deductions, and her tone felt condescending when she asked if I had filed taxes before. I also felt the manager was interrupting and talking over me when I was trying to communicate directly with Rachel.
After speaking with my parents, they advised me to seek out another tax professional who would take more time to ensure I was claiming everything I could. I appreciated Rachel’s kindness, but the overall experience, especially with the manager, made me feel uncomfortable and led me to decide not to file my taxes with them.

I have been using this branch, for my yearly taxes, for 4 years. I have been very fortunate in having the same tax professional this whole time. Michelle knows what each client needs and advises on how to get the most out of your income taxes. They are always friendly, professional and personable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Unless they change their staff and the way they currently run this branch.
