Lake Brantley HS is a very inviting school! The staff is friendly and administration is amazing! School/principal is always open to new ideas and reinforces kindness and community activists in school. School has a variety of sports and coaches are great! PTSA is also very active and organized, really happy with school!

if you are trans pease do not attend this school for your safety!!!!!! someone was forcefully pulled out of a womens restroom because admin somehow felt threatened by an underage trans identifying woman just wanting to use a restroom so they decided to take it upon themselves and forcefully remove her by dragging her by both arms, all the while berating her emotionally saying this is not you and never will be. absolutely disgusting

Bees. So many bees. On this delightfully cool day in our sunny state I was not only bombarded but I was harassed by hundreds, if not thousands of bees. Bees in my hair, my eyes, my body was traumatized by the sheer force of will they all carried in their small bodies. The lunch room is gourmet and the students get free lunch (what a scam for a former public school student such as myself!) The campus is shaped like a college campus and if I had not been with my two girls I would not have been able to find the north or south. However I did get a free pen.

This isn't a picture of the South gym. The gym is located on a dirt road behind this house before you get to Forest Lake Elementary and next to the softball fields football practice field. It is across the street and a little West of LBHS.

They have a corrupt staff, they dont care about education. They have a 90% grad rate but if you look at the average test scores more then 50% of the students arent passing, so they utilize summer school and flvs/plato to help kids graduate. They should have better teachers willing to work with kids with challenges. Due to this school i did not graduate and they wrongfully conduct their behavioral consequences. MY I.E.P counselor quit the school the year i left and disregarded her entire carreer because of the corruption in this school. Nobody talks about it but our voices need to be heard. 10/10 would avoid this school unless your child is good at sports. All they care about is how they look on the outside. They need better administrative staff.

Lake Brantley has one of the biggest pools I've ever seen. Of course, they often host swim meets so I shouldn't have been surprised. I needed a place to swim laps and Brantley is the ONLY public pool in northwest Orange County/Seminole County that has a pool open before summer. I thought it was crazy that none of the following offer lap swimming prior to June: Farnsworth (Winter Garden), City of Ocoee, or Westmonte Pool (Altamonte Springs). Thankfully Brantley was open for a fee of $3 per day. Besides being massive the pool is clean and is a comfortable temperature. A little chilly when you first hop in but you appreciate the temperature after you've swam a few laps. I was there on a Friday morning and essentially had the place to myself. The staff was preparing for a swim meet that weekend so were busy moving canopies and chairs. The pool is 25 yards wide and 50 meters long. This day is was set up for the short distance. There were about 5 lanes set up in the shallow end. There are some low and high diving boards in the deep end. On the shallow side there is this movable platform that extends the width of the pool. This allows for the pool to be divided into one small, shallow area separate from the rest of the pool. This would be great for beginner lessons. On the day I was there a group of special needs kids were enjoying the small pool. There is a nearby BBQ grill the staff was taking advantage of. My biggest critique would be that there is this huge pool with ONE bathroom. Yes, one single stall for men, one for ladies. No locker rooms, no changing rooms. This single stall doesn't even have a bench for you to put your stuff on. I felt pressured to change quickly so I didn't hog the bathroom. I couldn't imagine sharing this single bathroom during the height of summer or during a swim meet when hundreds of people crowd the pool! BTW... to get to the pool use the staff/employee entrance to Lake Brantley High School. Follow the road ALL THE WAY around, behind the school. There is a dirt/gravel parking lot to the side of the pool, past the "staff" parking spots.
