“Royal Liquor is a great small business. It is located on the corner within the small Altamonte Springs shopping center called Boulevard Plaza on Altamonte Dr. I ended up visiting Royal Liquor on a whim. I was actually stopping by a neighboring store in the plaza-a store that I frequently stop at for quick purchases. I never had the need, or in this case, the opportunity, to stop by any other business in the plaza. However, this particular night, I had taken an Uber to my destination. It was supposed to wait for me, seeing as my purchase was supposed to be quick. I am usually in and out of the store in less than 3 or 4 minutes, so I decided to book a round trip Uber ride, which would normally mean that the car would wait for me while at my stop, then take me back home after- without having to book another ride and wait for the driver again. Unfortunately, the line was oddly long on this particular trip, causing my Uber driver to cancel the ride, leaving me stranded in the parking lot when I exited the store.Needless to say, I ordered another ride to get home, but because it was pretty late at night, the wait for my ride was way longer than I expected.Instead of sitting in the dark on a curb by myself, I decided to stroll around the plaza to check out what other stores were there, and to see if anything was still open.Luckily, I quickly discovered Royal Liquors at the end of the plaza. The employee was friendly and helpful. He immediately greeted me when I walked in and asked if I needed help finding anything.I decided to browse around. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the store, as well as the neatly organized merchandise. They have a surprisingly huge collection of products. I noticed their wide variety of brands, flavors, and sizes.If you stop in to look for a specific product, not only will this store most likely have it in stock, it will also be quick and easy to find.The best part of this liquor store, however, are the incredibly affordable prices!I am so glad that I stopped by this store, and I will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend it for any of your alcohol and party supply needs!”

“Nice and clean inside you can find what you need everything in order thats a plus the cashier a older lady was very nice asking for my driver license but that young cop there did not say when i walked in welcome in No !!!?the 1 st thing she said when i walk in keep in mind I'm a black woman with a loud voice Hello as if she wanted to be seen i never payed her any mind i then paid for my drink and said have a good day to the cashier and i then kelped walking 3/24/2024 p.s.black people do have money too i say that becouse when i walk on the next row there was two black women already in side maybe the cop was alarmed that it was 3 blacks people in the store at the same time other then that it was good....”

“Came to purchase some holiday liquors as presents for Christmas. The store is typically crowded but with good selection. My only disappointment was that in spite of a wildly broad beer selection, they oddly did not have several differing varieties of Dogfish Head beer (single can or 6 pack) that I also came to buy.”

“Pretty well stocked store. Found few spirits here that were out of stock at the ABC stores. The person at the register is awesome and very helpful. Didn't get his name but he's great. The store is clean as well.”

“It's a little small for a liquor store, so the selection is somewhat limited. But it is open late, the guy that I usually see working is always friendly and helpful, the prices are great, and it's super quick and easy to find what you're looking for. If they don't have the exact brand/flavor/product you want, you will most likely find something that is a close alternative. Since the store hours are great- they are open pretty late in comparison to the surrounding liquor stores in town, it sometimes can be the only place left to pick up what you need if you wait until last minute, like me (: I've asked the man working, who is probably the owner or at least the manager, and he knows his shop and inventory. Just ask him if he has the product you want, and he'll point you right to it, or let you know they don't carry it, and then offer a few different options that are in the same category/price range/quality. The store is a hidden gem, so you should GPS the address if you go to look for it the first time. It's easy to miss. It's right by the I-4 exit for State Road 436 in Altamonte Springs. The Walgreens closest to the freeway is the road you want to turn down. The Opal Hotel is right behind Walgreens. Keep driving past the Opal, and the store will be on your right, next to a convenient store. It's just the two stores in the "mini shopping plaza", and the liquor store is the smaller of the two. There's only a few parking spaces, but it's rare for the lot or the store to be crowded. While I wish they carried my favorite- Daily's Frozen Cocktails, they have Svedka Vodka in the fruity flavors I like for cheap as well as the pina colada mixer. So when I've waited too long to get the pre-made cocktails, I stop here and make my own, and it usually ends up being a cheaper route to take anyways.
Overall, I definitely recommend giving this store a try!”
