Not very friendly . The entire 30 mins I was in the store I clearly overheard the staff behind the counter cursing loudly. This is a children’s store, you’d think they have a filter for their foul language. Secondly, for being a second hand store the prices are just about the same or even more than buying items brand new. One item in particular still had the original tag which showed it was CHEAPER from the original store than what Once upon a child is selling it for ! That’s insane , regardless if it still had the tag that doesn’t mean it wasn’t worn and it was still in someone else’s home. To charge more than the actual store is crazy (pictures for proof attached )

Went into the location after work at 6:15pm. Walked in the girl looks at me. I say “hi” first. She then says “hi” and looks back down. She waits a minute or two and then tells me the buy counter closed at 6pm. I then ask if that posted anywhere because I checked the site and didn’t see a mention of it. Another woman tells me sometimes the owner posted on Facebook. I do not have Facebook. The first girl then walks up and gives me a pamphlet and says these are the items that we are looking for just so you are aware if this is your first time here.as she looks at my items. I then tell her no it’s not my first time here. She then says oh it’s not and I say again no it’s not my first time here. She then HANDWRITES the buying times on the pamphlet but is missing Saturday. I then ask, oh so you don’t buy on Saturday? She says I forgot to add it but it’s the same thing for Saturday as Sunday. I said OK can you please write that on here as well? She then with an attitude writes it. The other woman (feeling bad I guess) then says to me that I could leave the items for overnight and they will then let me know tomorrow when they are ready. I asked her if people normally do that. She says no not really but that the owner says that we’re able to do that if people come after 6 PM. I let her know I do not feel comfortable overnight, but that I would try to bring them back again another day, but could not come before six because of my work schedule. I am not sure what the issues are at these locations. Your business literally thrives because you have a families that come and provide gently use items, but every location has different rules and the customer service across locations are severely lacking. I will likely not be going back to this location although it’s the closest to my home. 🙄

Love to buy things from here for my kids (I have 6!) but I HATE selling to them. I understand that in order to keep prices low they won’t offer you much for your items, I really just want to get them out of my house and be able to use the funds to buy the next sizes up for my kids but they Don’t buy but a few pieces at a time. I can bring in a tub full of new or gently used current name brand items and they’ll pick 2 or 3 things and return the rest. I literally heard the short girl with glasses complaining another employee was buying too much from a single customer… too much to tag, too much to hang and put on the floor. But I will say the store is full and well stocked, I’m assuming from back stock inventory because they certainly are no longer buying much from customers. Also some of the employees are rude but some are very nice. Just wish it was consistently a good experience every time I sell or shop with them (which is often with 6 kids) guess I’ll have to drive a little further out to other OUAC in the area from now on.

The place is very nice and has much better prices than other stores in Orlando.
But I try not to go on weekends. The people who run the store on weekends aren't very friendly. In fact, they're the two men who work there on weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays, the part of the store where you take clothes to sell closes very early.
A couple of weeks ago, we took some friends there to shop, but we honestly preferred to go to another store closer.
The store is very nice, but what you've already mentioned makes it different.

Workers were rude, making up rules to not take our clothes or to just be unfair, clothes were clean and in a bag. Refused to help my pregnant wife and told her if she didn’t pick up the clothes by 1 that they would throw them away, when by their policies we have until they close which is 6

Always good finds, my favorite back-to-school first stop. 1- drop off new to gently used chold items. 2- get store credit for items they will resell. 3- shop for gently used and sometimes new with tags clothes and shoes dor my kiddo. 4- checkout and use my store credit pay in a little (I usually find a lit if cute clothes here) and wallah, first back-to-school chore complete.
Kids grow fast and do not always like the clothes grandma buys them, why not trade them in for what they do like At Once Upon a Child
Your welcome ~

The ladies behind the counter could smile a little. I know its sorting and pricing but they struggle with looking at least like they like their job a little

I am leaving this review solely on the condition my clothes were returned in. (Haphazardly, when they weren't turned in that way, which I didn't appreciate.)
They barely went through my items (many were still folded at the bottom) and it was about 20 minutes before they were calling me back when someone else was quoted like an hour. Plus, the vibe/energy was way off and staff could be audibly heard complaining. Not for me.

Friendly staff, great selection of kids clothing for all ages. I find this location to buy clothing so much more affordable and way better selection than the Daytona location.
Found kids shoes to be way over priced though and wasn’t provided a bag for my items when I checked out which was awkward. Overall, worth the trip and will be back again!

The best OUAC in the Orlando area. They are friendly, prices are reasonable, they actually take the time to go through the things you bring in to sell unlike other stores in this area that just pick through them.
