I came to this Pep Boys location to purchase 4 new tires. The tires that I wanted to buy were not in my size. The Service rep, recommended an alternative tire and gave me the same discount that I would have received from the original tires that I wanted to purchase and I came out with a better savings. I was in-and-out within an hour! Excellent customer service and inspection of my vehicle. Tires ride nice and I am very happy with my tires purchase. I will definitely be back for future services to my SUV.

These people are the worst. They are rude. Poor customer service. had an appointment for an oil change that took 3 hours because they forgot my car was there.

*Update*
Yesterday’s visit, (02/23/25), was amazing. I came in yesterday and was delighted to see they had a new store managers Nathan and Steven. They shares the same qualities in professionalism and customer service that the other manager Angel possesses. Great team now! Dream team. A breath of fresh air. Quality mechanics and managers.
Yesterday’s visit (Sunday - 12/08/24), was a breath of fresh air. It felt good to walk into a business where workers place value on customer service. You don’t have to cheese in someone’s face to be nice, but being pleasant should be the standard. Listening without being dismissive should be a given. Empathy and non dismissive should be automatic. Because this was displayed yesterday, they now have my business. Thank you Angel and Luis!

came here to get my breaks looked at.. all of a sudden my steering wheel is stiff i need new roaders and my steering wheel pump is about to go out i need new break fluid over charge over charge .. take it to my mechanic all those things are fine. DONT COME HERE!!!

One of the worst experiences I've had. Got my car towed here and was originally told diagnostic would be around $40. Then told my diagnostic would be more after the fact.
After an outrageous quote for the work I told them I'd take my work elsewhere which they then proceeded to charge me $300 for a diagnosistic! $300?!
Btw this was all done verbally...if you use them make sure you bring stacks of gold and ask for everything in writing before it's done otherwise you'll be paying outrageous fees you didn't agree to.

01/18/2025 3:30. I arrived at the store to deliver a battery. I arrived at the counter with the battery and the employee didn't even look at me and didn't even say good afternoon. He just said put the battery on the floor. I also went because I also needed 4 tires for my TRX and since he didn't tell me anything so I went to another store that would serve me better. If I had told him I need 4 rubber bands, he would stop what he was doing to attend to her. I call this debut and farewell.

Needed to have a patch done on two of my tires. I had previously purchased 4 new tires and the hazzard warranty from Pep Boys. Angel took care of the issue in a timely manner, demonstrating both grace and competence. I was very glad to have him there to help me. I was a little worried at first, not feeling as confident dealing with previous employees. He changed my mind completely. Thank you Angel..you are awesome! Great customer service. :)

The people that work at this location of Pep Boys are the rudest people I have ever met, they literally could have nobody in their bay working and they’ll say they’re so busy, they treat you with disrespect, they always act like they’re on the phone and they ignore you or like you’re annoyance because you arrive for a service. I will never go back to Pep Boys Altamonte, do yourself a favor and try the Casselberry location. They actually care about their customers

Excellent service.i went in last minute for spark plugs. I got in and out less than 40 minutes. I will recommend this shop to all friends and family.

The service was great but the building needs HEAT AND AC no reason why the customers and employees should be freezing. The manager was on vacation and left the employees in the cold. Not fair at all.
