They handled my repair in a timely manner, were very professional and did a thorough job. My only consideration is that the pricing was on par with the dealership, higher than independent repair shops. But they are very reliable.

First of all, I miss Phil being at the desk. Secondly, I came in for an oil change. The young gentleman who greeted me at 9am was pleasant and helpful. I asked how long my oil change would be and he said about an hour. I have been sitting in the store for the last 2 hours. They didn't even ask what kind of oil I wanted. When I got my follow us link to see where my car was in the process of getting a oil change, they had not even assigned a tech to my car and I had already been here for an 1.5 hours. Two other gentleman come in and out of the garage and they seem to be a little unprofessional: complaining about answering the phone and talking about their lives. It's not inappropriate. I just needed an oil change to get on with my day but I've spent the morning here. Please be more prepared for service and work through what the customer wants.

Service took too long. Nails in tires and not informed until they had completed their view of service. Complete mayhem at service counter with the person switching between people rather than completing each transaction.

Been coming here for several years with no issue. Today I'm waiting on site 3 hours so far for an oil change despite having an appointment. No updates on how much longer of a wait unless I ask. 3 employees up front chatting the whole time. Who is back there doing the work? No wonder it takes so long. Stop leaving generic responses to these bad reviews and hire an actual manager to do something about this mess.

Three hours waiting and they still haven't started doing the work.
The attention of the person who attended me today 12/22 was of course the worst, he indicated poor expectations of completion of the work, lied when he said that only the road test was missing and demonstrated his poor customer service skills.

I did my 100k maintenance service here. The first front desk guy was terrible, not friendly or helpful, only told me no, booked my car and upset me the entire time..and yet I still turned my car in ( I had to, my discount ended that day). I left feeling angry.
Funny enough, he was the guy I saw at the end of the day too. He was nice then, when it was easy.
You never know who you'lll deal with. The two guys who actually helped me were knowledgeable and helpful. (I forget their names and im sorry, but Pep Boys should be able to figure it out). I already had my mind made up of what i was going to do, they printed out their "list of prices and demands" and I took the print out paperwork to my car and looked it over and I took my time crossing off all the BS charges I didn't like (you'll find a few like "extended warranty" for $60.. it might be different in your area but please, go though it line by line and make it right for you.). They fixed it almost too quickly, but my car runs great! (Even though they refused to do the Tranny fluid because it was after the recommended time and they "won't be held liable". I already have to sign a paper saying you're not liable for the work I asked of you..it's kind of lazy and idiotic of you to deny my tranny fluid exchange request because you could be held liable of issues afterwards...that could be said about almost anything you do.. brakes being almost the most important thing... I did my 100k maintenance here EXCEPT my transmission fluid because THEY REFUSED to help/service me (because it was after the date in the book AND they refused to do it because they wouldn't be held responsible..
So, my bill, from $2195 to $1088, granted I didnt get the brake job ($800 4 brakes & 4 rotors job.. probably more with labor.., so my true bill is around $1395.. my $1088 is more labor cost than actual parts, like 500 in parts, the rest labor cost.. fxck me i guess..) but hey, lucky me.. I got an email for 15% off my next auto maintenance or repair...IF I take their survey.......
Can't wait to use this useless coupon and also be fukkked by their prices! 👍

Charged me almost 200$ for short simple diagnostic. Offered me to change broken part for 2.5 times his price in other places.

Have been using this store for almost 2 decades. I have noticed a decline in customer service. Employees spend a lot of time fooling around chatting and laughing instead of doing their job. I always make an appointment and usually it takes about an hour for my car to be checked. Oil changes have taken up to 3 hrs

For the most part it was a great experience. But I asked them to check my tire because it has a leak somewhere. They didn't acknowledge it after. And now it's leaking even quicker.

This place gets a negative 1,watch them close they will lie to you ,if the job not going to bring them any money they aren't interested.
I will be reporting them to the corporate because I brought in a car that had a nail in the tire that needed to be patched, something simple but the tires could have been patched but they wanted to sell me two brand new tires that I didn't need,but could have been honest and just said they didn't want to do it,my second time at this store,I would take a light bread wagon with dounut wheels to this place

Came in an hour before closing and was told it was too late to have a tire checked. They had no cars and the clerk seemed joyous in his sarcasm in turning our down business. If I owned this shop I would want staff that makes me money not one turns it away cause they are lazy mooches. I won't be back they give the pep boys a bad reputation

Don’t go here had an appointment for 2:30pm all the workers just standing around but one female working on a vehicle. They other stand sitting smoking not working on any vehicles it’s wasn’t busy at all a waste a time and gas. Never again.
