03/2024: pleasantly surprised.Usually dread anything to do with insurance + cars + repairs but from start to finish the communication, scheduling, repaired windshield, and payment were 10/10 with satellite and this location, in particular. The ladies at the front desk were fabulous and the technicians installed and calibrated our windshield seamlessly. Thanks!

Edit: 2 days after the 2nd install, woke up to the 2nd windshield ALSO having a crack in the exact same spot as the first replacement. I don't know what the problem is but I guess I'll be seeing y'all... again. Yay.Mixed bag for me but they did eventually make it right. Most of my frustration is with trying to communicate with the Safelite corporate call center rather than anything the store itself did wrong so won't give too bad of a rating for the store.It started with the initial appointment process. Gave the agent my car details and he said something about having parking sensors and needing a specific windshield, and I was like "ummmm my car doesn't have parking sensors." He said "I'm inclined to believe you since most people wouldn't have been able to answer my other questions but it's what the system says." Sure enough I show up for my appointment and the store said "yeah we need a different windshield than the one they told us" (not the store's fault).Then they scheduled a follow-up and offered to send somebody out to me instead of coming to the store. Everything went fine but to be honest... the job looked really bad. All the weather stripping looked like it was applied by a toddler. Took it to the store to basically ask if I was being crazy and they agreed that it should be redone... and oh it already had a new crack in it anyway. So then they said they'd redo it, but I asked about getting an OEM windshield instead. They were up front that I'd have to pay the difference if insurance didn't approve it which was fine. They would get a quote and then call within 2 days to make sure the cost was okay.A few days go by and nobody calls. I call them. They had 0 context into what was going on and I had to explain it from the top. They say "oh it looks like the windshield is already ordered" and they schedule my appointment. After many iterations of calling to see if the windshield is in yet and having to re-explain everything MULTIPLE calls and a couple weeks with no updates, they eventually connect me to the store and say "oh OEM? Nothing in here about OEM so we'll need to order it." (not really the store's fault I don't think).I get another appointment on the books... day before the appointment I call the store to see if they have the windshield yet and they don't. No details but they say "you can come in tomorrow and if we don't have it then we'll reschedule." Not wanting to plan my weekend around a windshield that may or may not get there by 8 am, I moved my appointment again.Now... thankfully today I took my car in. No hassle. They replace it. It looks good (95% looks like it came from the factory which I can't complain about at all).Anyway... I'll give 4 stars because the folks at the store did all they could aside from the mobile tech doing a bad job. If I could give Safelite corporate 1 star, I would. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

I had my vehicle's windshield replaced several weeks ago. I noticed some of the framing around the glass was coming loose. I came back to the shop and James (front desk) and David (shop manager) were very helpful and were able to address the issue. David showed me where the clips were loose and popped all of them back in. I was in and out within 10 minutes. I appreciate their fast service.

The rep Maria will have you submit the estimate to your insurance company when it’s her responsibility to get instead will not submit estimate or paid receipt and have the client do it. In turn make the client pay for a windshield on reimbursement. when the front windshield in Florida is free on charge.That’s just laziness and lack of following the right procedures.

We had our front windshield replaced at 1PM on Monday, Jan 8th by the Beltron Winner who’s name I do not have. I want to thank him for being AMAZING! Best service in record time and very professional. In addition, the entire team I interacted with were superb. Kudos to the staff especially the technician who changed our windshield. We would totally recommend this location and our technician!!

12/22/23: If you have a damaged windshield to be replaced, I highly recommend Safelite at Altamonte Springs, FL.A little rock or debris hit my windshield while driving on the highway. It started out as a little dimple and formed a two-inch line that spread and became a long cracked line on my windshield within a few days. I called Safelite but the automated message recommended to go to their website to get an instant quote and schedule a service. When I filled out the form online, an option to pay out of pocket or free through the insurance coverage was available. I am glad I took the online route. It was quick and simple.Safelite sent a technician (Brandon) right out to my home the next day to replace my damaged windshield. I did not see Brandon in person since I was sick in the house, but he did an excellent job replacing my windshield. He also transferred the adhesive toll tag labels over to my new windshield too.Thank you Brandon for your quality service. Safelite sent me a receipt right away once the job was completed.Note: I am rating five stars now. Since I am too sick to drive, if there's any flaws from the windshield, I will update my review. If it's not updated, it meant new windshield has no issue.
