I agree with the other negative reviews about this branch. I hesitate going there but do from time to time because it's the closest branch. I usually go to the Maitland branch instead. They are consistently very slow and understaffed. I think the worst part is nobody working there even acknowledges you. They seem to give people who come into the lobby the lowest priority. Stay away from this branch if you can.

Atrocious service. Practically non existent. I went there Friday to deposit a check. If you thought going inside was bad, thanks to covid, the outside is even worse. Only one teller for five lanes of service. Wow! Really?! I think it took me about 30 minutes total from the time I pulled up to the time I rolled out of there. The management could care less that we the customers have such a long wait time for service. All they care about is sitting in their nice cool office. I will be searching for a new bank.

Terrible service we called to use the notary service and was told to come in before 1:30. We arrive at 1:15 and no one will answer the door and open the lobby. We called and said it's appointment only and they can not let us in. So one employee was going to provide a service before 1:30 and must have not communicated with other team members and then after arriving were turned away.

Judging from all of the reviews it's clear Suntrust doesn't care one iota about how bad this branch is, because the negative reviews over the years are extremely consistent. I've used this branch for nine years and yes, the wait times are generally always slow, but as of last week they hit a totally new low via my experiences with one particular horror who's employed there. I'm about to head overseas, including a one-month visit to Nepal, and it just so happens that my time there presents particular difficulties as far as accessing funds that I'll need for an extra-long trek I'm taking through the Himalayas. It's a largely cash-based system, and under normal circumstances I'd simply take the necessary money with me, but as I'll also be traveling in a few other third world countries beforehand I don't want to tempt fate by carrying around such a large sum - the question therefore was how to transfer funds across to Nepal that I could tap into when I get there. The individual I unfortunately ended up with at Suntrust, a heavy-set and middle-aged woman with some kind of mauve dye to her hair, proved to be about as helpful as a brick wall, though I daresay the wall would have come across as far less ill-mannered. I gave her the basic rundown on my issues, and she piped up with, "well why don't you just use a credit card to pay for everything?" Hallelujah!! Saints be praised! Yep, I could just see myself whipping out a credit card to pay for a meal cooked over a wood fire in a rustic cabin high up in the mountains, far from any kind of wifi or cell-phone connections. And I'm sure my guide and porter, after slogging for weeks through snow and over one high pass over another laden down with their packs, could just whip out a credit card attachment to their phones to run my credit card through as payment. This is a mountain economy without any proper roads and where the basic necessities of life - even building materials - are brought in either by donkey or on the backs of men tottering along spidery trails leading through the mountains. But oh yeah, genius here figured it all out and came to the conclusion that I could just use a credit card to solve everything - why couldn't I have figured that out for myself? So clearly I had wasted my breath explaining things beforehand because this idiot clearly hadn't digested anything I'd said, or was so bereft of any knowledge regarding how other parts of the world might live that she couldn't fathom an area devoid of such basics as credit card facilities. It certainly didn't help that throughout the entire conversation - literally - she kept staring at the computer screen to her left and never made eye contact at all once I had seated myself at her desk to discuss the situation. I have relatives with Asperger's syndrome who have far greater social skills and awareness than this appalling woman. Her behavior was so stunningly rude that I eventually muttered sarcastically, "I'm sorry, is my presence intruding on your work?" Without even glancing away from the screen she replied, "No, I'm listening", and just kept ignoring me. It beggars belief that any company would employ such a socially retarded individual in a customer service position, particularly one who is so grossly unable to grasp even the most basic norms of human interaction. She only glanced my way when I finally got up in exasperation to leave, as it was clear that anything I had to say was falling on deaf ears and that she couldn't be of help. I had thought that Suntrust might know of some means to transfer funds for me to a bank in Nepal once I got there, or failing that would ensure there'd be no red flags sent up that blocked my credit card with the bank if I used it to draw out funds. I simply never got that far because the bank's resident horror was clearly beyond offering

Slow and understaffed they are slow as snails at this branch. I have banked with Suntrust for 20 years and this is the slowest branch I have ever been to. The tellers do not care about people's time. They should have better staffing.

Horrible Branch!!!!! I would give it 0 stars if able to!! I went to this branch Friday to withdraw $500 from a Teller. Few hours later I checked my account online and there's an additional $450 withdrawn from my account from the same teller!!!! 10 minutes after I left!!! I still have no signs of my money, no credit can be given because they have to investigate what happen and it might take a few days because they have to review the cameras!! Yes please check your cameras!!! but I have to sit here and wait till your branch figures out who slipped up before i received my money back? I literally opened this account last week and I'll definitely be closing my account after I receive my money!!!! No one should be banking with a bank like this. I even called the 1-800 number and they couldn't help me because i had to speak with the branch itself.. aren't you one company? The branch manager Amy, customer service is horrible, couldn't even apologize for her branch slip up!!! She even told me she had to return my call because she had to assist a customer... um am I not a customer? Overall horrible horrible horrible!! Today is Tuesday, let's see when my money is returned.

I used to bank exclusively with SunTrust (15 years), but now partially. This branch is consistently undermanned, poorly managed, and extremely slow. Suntrust used to be a great bank, but something changed about three years ago, and not to the good, which is why I left.

I used to love coming to this bank. Everyone used to be polite & helpful. I'm guessing the staffed changed because the tellers here are so RUDE now. Drive thru takes 10-20 minutes & they don't even greet you. In 2015, I used to be greeted with "Hello, welcome to Suntrust & Thank you for banking with Suntrust, may I help you with anything else?" Now I don't even see the teller, they just make my deposits & send out confirmation slip...THAT'S IT!!! I can't even ask them a question when I need to because they just vanish. Whatever... I am so over this bank. I'm closing my accounts and moving to a different bank. Do NOT bank with Suntrust...

This review is strictly on customer service as I don't bank here. I went in to ask for information on opening an account and felt like I was being rushed out and they had no time to talk to me. The person helping me handed me a brochure and pointed at it every time is asked a question. I left and did not open an account because if this is how they act trying to get your business how do they act once ur in?

I shudder at the thought of banking and dislike bankers. I always get the feeling that I'm getting ripped off by them in some way. Even with my good background I never get any good rates or consideration when needing money. If I'm late with my payment or some other banking problem which is my fault I get slammed with some fees. When they screw up I get a "oh, so sorry we screwed up... would you like a lollipop?" Overall it is a nice location but the drive-thru has always been a little on the slow side. I'm not sure what they are doing behind the screens because they now have cameras installed. I guess that is what the problem is, now that the tellers can goof off behind closed doors. You can't see them and they can go off doing other things rather than cash your check. I bank here only because... wait, wait, I have no idea why I bank here. Sigh.

Very nice Suntrust!! I went inside and the wait wasn't too long, either. The bank teller was nice and cheerful, which made me feel the same. They also had complimentary coffee for guests! I thought there was plenty of parking; however, getting in and out can be tricky depending where you are coming from/where you are headed. If you bring your child, ask for a s****** :)
