Stay away from Altamonte Springs, manager Dawn declined to help me after I expressed my frustration with Home Depot.com with multiple attempts with Corporate and I was laughed at a call with a female employee at Home Depot.com which is unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BS

These pro parking spots are impossible to get in and out of whoever designed them didn't consider the fact that people are gonna have stuff hanging outside of their bed and they park the box trucks way too close park them far away

I moved into my home last week. I searched online for flooring, and Home Depot appeared to have the best deals. I requested measurement and estimate for replacing old carpet with vinyl. The person who came to my home did not say anything about them refusing to remove and haul away the old carpet. Shortly afterward, Home Depot called and offered estimate. The contract they emailed to me specifically stated that removal and disposal of old carpet was included in the price. I even asked about this specifically, and was assured that the carpet would be removed. The contract also states that they cannot remove "animal" stained or flea infested carpet. There are no pets allowed per HOA, and no evidence of fleas or "animal" stains on the carpet, the carpet is just old and has "regular" stains. Since I was told by staff member that the carpet would be removed, I approved the purchase and provided my credit card information. The following day, the installer called me to discuss the installation, and he said that I would have to remove my carpet prior to the installation. He told me that the person who had come to my home for measurements and estimate had indicated that the carpet was too soiled for them to remove. The in-home Estimator had never discussed this with me, and the person who called with the contract not only did not tell me, but actually assured me the carpet removal was included. I told the Installer that I would have to cancel the job if they weren't willing to remove the carpet, and he told me that he would have Home Depot staff contact me. I then received a call from Home Depot, and the person told me that they were not able to place heavily soiled carpet next to new carpet in their trucks. Apparently, they are placing "lightly" soiled carpets next to clean carpets in their trucks, which is disgusting because a used carpet holds a lot of potentially infectious material whether it looks clean or not. This person did not apologize to me, or offer me a price break so I could hire someone else to remove the carpet. I specifically asked for the Flooring Manager to call me back, and they never did. The next day, I called them to make sure all of my money was being refunded (contract allows for customer Cancellation within 3 business days of signing). At this point, I was offered $150.00 discount if I did not Cancel. I explained that it would cost more than $150.00 to hire someone to remove the carpet, and declined the offer. At this point, finally, I received an apology. I am extremely disappointed that the person who measured and estimated the deal never told me that they were not going to remove the carpet. As a matter of fact, the Contract shows the specific measurement of carpet and indicates there will be $0 charge for this. This was extremely unprofessional.

Quite possibly the worst Home Depot you can ever walk into. For any custom work regardless of how easy it may seem, be expected to wait over an hour.

If you are considering Home Depot for a project..run! I gave up $4000 to do the right thing and share my experience with you…my experience with Home Depot is as follows❤️ Re: job #11128950 My name is Lori xxxxx and I have been in contact with you at various times through the duration of this project. Here is a recap of the issues involved: -projected time required for project initially one day (June 29) morphing to weeks then months -window manufactured incorrectly requiring a reorder -glass door panel installed with cracked glass requiring replacement -all window screens installed backwards and ripped. -window sash damaged requiring replacement -door trim installed without prior approval or discussion resulting in negative esthetic changes to the structure -installed window was inoperative requiring repair. The time I was required to provide for this project far exceeded what I was told to expect. Home Depot’s mistakes cost me tens of thousands of dollars in lost wages. As an airline Captain a day off means not flying a trip, which can mean 3-6 days of lost revenue. In addition to the financial cost, my integrity was attacked including Atlanta personnel accusing me of lying regarding lack of notification for the time this project may require. I have all correspondence available for review. I endured misogynistic and disrespectful attitudes, actions, and words from your installation contractors. I was told I was behaving like a cop when I asked to see Home Depot identification. I was told parts for the windows did not exist, and then I found the parts discarded in the garbage. I was told parts did not need to be installed because the installers did not want to install them. I was talked about in a derogatory manner in Spanish. Unbeknownst to the contractors, I speak Spanish. I was shown one color and type of trim which I approved, and then the contractor installed something else claiming it was the same. When I held the sample next to what was installed, the difference was obvious. When caught in the lie, the installer walked off the job leaving a 200lb glass door panel balanced precariously against a wall along with trash and other hazardous materials. The financial and emotional costs created by Home Depot’s mistakes have been excessive. I expect a company that prides themselves on the quality of their products, workmanship, and guarantees to want to rectify mistakes to the best of their ability, not the least. The dismissive email I received from Home Depot stating their offer of a $2500 rebate was fair compensation “and they were sticking with that”, was insulting in tone and amount. I don’t expect something for nothing, but I also don’t expect a purchase to cost so much beyond what I was told to anticipate. We all pay for our mistakes one way or another, usually financially or with our reputations. We don’t always choose to do the right thing, but we always feel the consequences of our choices. Your customers expect Home Depot to do better. I hope you do too. Sincerely, Lori xxxxxxx

Customer service is going from bad to worst. As a veteran, they made it difficult to get my 10% discount. I had my id, but unable to use QR code. The associate and manager, didnt help. I NEVER have a problem at the Apopka Florida Store. Its a little further out, but might be worth the drive get no hassle, service. The preach support veteran but dont walk the talk.

Beware when buying large appliances we got our air conditioner installed this weekend and discovered it was 6 years old and the compressor doesn't work right. Also no working electric carts for the handicapped. Assistant Manager suggested that we bring it back for a refund. That's no help since we paid someone $150 to install it.

Wow. Worst delivery experience ever. Bought a fridge. Paid extra to have them move the existing one into the garage. Delivery guys said "no can do". Said if they take the doors off to move it, they have to haul it away. After calling and getting no help from CJ the store manager, we gave in and told them to haul the old one away. But it must've been too close to break time, because these jerks just hopped in their truck and took off! No new fridge, old one left pulled halfway out into our kitchen. Can't wait for the slow motion refund process. Home Depot, you just made me a Lowes man! Update: bought same fridge from Best Buy. Had same fridge in house to move. Their guys did it, no doors removed, no questions asked!

Good afternoon, my complaint is customer service. Went in to buy some Poplar wood knowing it is sold by the linear foot. As usual no one around to help with cutting wood. I just needed to cut down to 6 foot. So I went to the register to purchase wood they were measuring and charging for the extra 4-6 inches that were left on the board. So I told them that I needed to cut off but there was no one back at the saw or in lumber to help. Cashier called lumber I waited 15-20 minutes no one came finally the cashier came back to cut the wood. So, I waiting altogether about 40 minutes that should’ve taken me a total of 10 minutes to get my stuff and leave. So, the wood I am getting each piece is around 6‘4“ or 6‘6“. After waiting and not knowing that they don’t cut anything less than 12 inches they told me I could not get the wood cut because it is less than 12 inches. If I would’ve known that I would’ve cut it myself and not gone through the torment of being in your store. I will never step foot in Home Depot again and I would encourage any of my friends who ask not to step foot in your store as well. This is been going on in your store for a while. But today was the last straw. I know I am just an individual person that comes into your store and I hope this reaches someone of importance because this took me an hour longer than I needed out of my day. Miserable experience! Home Depot

Home Depot is a well-known big box chain for home improvement goods and services. And, what typically sets the chains apart is their customer service, supply of goods, and the ease of doing business with them. At this location, I've shopped in store, online with pick up at customer service, online with curbside delivery, and online with home delivery. Each of these shopping experiences have been solid for me. And when I've needed to return an item, the process has gone smoothly. The employees have all been helpful. Some purchases here include a soil probe, mulch, lightbulbs, and Ryobi brand power tools, one of the brands that Home Depot highlights. I don't hesitate to purchase here for to all of the above reasons and will continue to frequent here. One note: The location is in a shopping center with Target so the traffic is higher than at stand alone locations.

The trip to Home Depot was the total opposite of my Lowe's visit. I met a delightful employee named Laurie. When she saw me said "I'll be with you in a minute. " When she finished with the customer she was walking me to get what I needed and told another customer, "Let me know if you need any help" How refreshing!!! So she got me what i needed and asked if i needed any tools to help with installation. Then told me" Thank you for coming to Home Depot. Have a good day " Top notch customer service. Laurie helped Home Depot get 5 stars from me. Will be returning again for my home needs.

This is the worst store, the associates don't know their own departments. Only a handful of people are knowledgeable and helpful, often the associates in their department read the label on the item. I can read the label, but clearly the answer is not on there. This store has fallen off in the quality of its employees in the last 20 years, can't find someone and when you do they are talking with their friend. They don't take Apple Pay which's puts the Stone Age, better off going to Ace or True Value. They always have some one who knows their stuff, they don't stick some one in a department just based on their gender.

Great. Customer service! When is the last time you heard that about a "Big Box" store. But they have done it here at this Hone Depot. I found everything I needed quickly and easily thanks to a great selection and great service.
