We were scheduled for remote pickup. The U-Haul app was awful. Customer service was not very helpful. After waiting on hold for more than 20 minutes (while my moving helpers were waiting), the rep went through the steps (putting me on hold several times to ask others what to do) only to tell me that the app wouldn't work with my phone. After almost 45 minutes with the rep, I had to get another person to download the app and go through the steps to even be able to get the truck. By this time, we were 1 hour and 45 minutes past our rental time. Then, as we tried to follow the steps, the app kept freezing. We couldn't take the pictures needed. The dolly I paid for was not in the truck, but I was still charged for it because the app froze when we tried to take the picture of the empty truck. When we tried to return the truck, we weren't able to finish the process because the app kept freezing. We decided to start over and went and put some gas in the truck because in the process of checking out it said we hadn't filled the truck enough, and it was charging us almost $10 extra for gas. So, I paid to fill it up at a gas station. Then, when I got the final bill, I was still charged for the non-existent dolly and for the "missing" gas. My $19.99 rental came to almost $70. I complained on the website, but no one has contacted me, and I have still been overcharged. Worst rental experience I have ever had. Do not use U-Haul unless you can check out with a real person!

Danielle is amazing!!! She saved our day when we left the Budget rental across the street due to mondo hidden charges - she price matched, didn't hard sell, and got us everything we need! 5 stars!!!

While I give Uhaul 5 stars for ease of booking an appointment through their online service it all went down hill from there prompting me to give them 1 star and less if I could. I showed up at the Altamonte Springs location for my 11am appointment on time and with a great attitude. (I know some people write reviews because they're having a crappy day, this is not the case). The Uhaul site has this independent locations hours wrong on there site so she doesn’t open until 10:00.. This was a fantastic location to pick up my Uhaul convenient and central I used the Cube storage right across the street to put my stuff.. The owner of this location made a hectic time go a little smoother for me she was fantastic, helpful and sweet .. Above and beyond I will recommend to everyone this location even if it’s a little further than you wanted it’s a more pleasurable experience

zero star review, I have a contract i have paid in full, my boxes per my contract where shipped elsewhere & not where the contract states, my movers had to drive extra miles to pick up my boxes from a different location than on the contract, no one bothered to contact me at all, then called to ask me to pay more money on a paid in full balance not to mention the unprofessional vm i received requesting my cc info however the rep never left her name or the phone number for uhaul, (fraud) or horrible customer service, i've done my part from day 1 this has been a horrible experience including now and i still haven't received my property, im filing a complaint the movers are filing a complaint i have and will post the vm if need be because this is horrible customer service, i paid to much money & myself and the movers have to pay extra for uhauls incompetence & i am requesting a discount because everyone but u haul is paying extra to do your job for u. This isn't my job i paid in full an shouldn't have to pay extra nor the movers an we have. DISCOUNT!!!!!
