City Pier Park is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. This historic pier, located at the east foot of Pine Street, offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of "Old Florida." Visitors can enjoy stunning sunrises, observe a variety of sea life, and even try their hand at fishing. The pier also features a marine life museum and a bar/grill restaurant at the end, providing a perfect spot for relaxation and entertainment. Despite sustaining heavy damage during Hurricane Irma in 2017, the pier has been reconstructed and reopened to the public in 2020, allowing visitors to once again explore this picturesque location. The pier is longer than the nearby Rod & Reel Pier, but the walk is only 0.13 miles each way. Parking can be limited, so visitors may want to consider walking or biking to the site. The park also offers a variety of activities for families, including an exploration center where children can make their own fish. With live music playing daily from 4 pm to 7 pm, City Pier Park is a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique and enjoyable experience in the heart of Florida's coastal region.
There is currently no pier. Beautiful and quiet spot to catch the sunrise though!

How long will it take them to rebuild the pier to get out to the building. Amazing that the doc is gone but the building is still standing
