“This place does great things for the bay. They have kids educational classes. They do volunteer work to creat homes for scallops whicb clean the water. They also gather boaters and go out and find old abandoned crab traps and also count the scallop population. All benefitional to the tampa bay. Lastly they have a banquet hall for weddings beautiful location. Check it out, volunteer, help us make this a better place”
“Went here with a family member, as you must be a lodge member. Really nice place, simple but good food. They even have a rooftop area that overlooks the beach, if you'd like to go up there and eat or have a drink. They also have a bar and direct access to the beach.”
“Me and my son love coming to the Bradenton YMCA! The facility is always clean and all the staff are wonderful. Front desk staff are friendly. My son enjoys going to Kids Zone. The staff make him feel at home and even provide homework help. I love all the choices in the fitness room. I can get my cardio in and there are a lot of options for strength training between all the machines and free weights. My son recently had a birthday pool party at the Y. Staff really went the extra mile to accommodate us and make it a special celebration. He and his guests had such a a great time!”

“The Island Players is a charming and cosy theatre sitting at the north end of Anna Maria Island. The theatre always delivers a great performance with some wonderful and dedicated actors. We have visited twice this season for Ghost Stories and A Doublewide Texas Christmas and as usual they did not disappoint. If you are visiting the island go and support the oldest theatre in Manatee county that is run by an amazing group of volunteers. Can’t wait to see what season 78 brings.”
