I should have a review back in 2022
Let me start off by saying Ive had a unit (4 years) at this place when the original owners still owned it. (The elder couple that live behind the units). Very sweet couple. When they sold the unit, the new company promised them that they would not raise the rates. That was a lie. It didn’t take them a month and they did.
Well, at first I thought the new company was an upgrade. They offered an online option to pay. ( previous owners had to mail or pay in person)
The new website is where all the problems began. About four months into this company owning the units I made a trip to my unit. I was absolutely flabbergasted when my lock was switched. I called the company and of course no one answered. I called again the next day and I finally spoke to a woman. I explained to her that my unit has a different lock on it . After a few minutes of looking into it she came back and told me that my name was not on that unit. Well, how was I able to pay for four months on my unit? The lady did look at my unit and she did see where I had 3 months of credits posted to my account. (Again I asked if this isn’t my unit then how do I have an account and why can you see my payments and credits? I proceeded to tell her I have had this unit since before you guys bought this and I have had no issues whatsoever. So if you guys just bought it and I have an account with you guys and it’s online and you can clearly see it.
The next day I received an email from the so-called manager (I still have these emails)
She told me the same thing and when I went back on my account, they completely deactivated it so I was no longer allowed to get on my account.
Again, I found this extremely comical, considering she did refund me back my 3 months of credits posted to my account. She had the audacity to tell me my unit was left trashed.
I have pictures of my unit everything in there was in totes nicely stacked. I had a lawnmower, two coolers, a twin size bedframe. I phoned her this and yet she still said it was trashed. Anyone who knows me knows that I am very well organized, and a very clean person
This has most definitely been the worst experience with a storage unit I have ever had. I do not leave reviews, but in this case, it’s very well earned.
Do not use this company unless you want your hard earned money stolen from you.
All of my Christmas decor From my childhood as well as my children gone. A crib that was over 25 years old that was bought by my dad who passed away was gone.

The rental process was simple and seamless. The unit was clean and remained dry the entire time I was there.

It has been great except for this past June when I was in the hospital for three weeks and had neither phone service nor internet. They placed their own lock on my unit and charged me a $10 late fee.
