“A boutique hotel with sections dating back to the early 1900s. The place was charming, well appointed and staff friendly, personable and willing to go an extra mile. Our room was in the oldest part of the complex and offered a wrap around 2nd floor porch shared with neighboring rooms. The room was very clean, rustic but elegant, and the bed was top flight. The room clearly had been modified to include the bathroom. It was cramped and had just one sink, so if roomy bathrooms are important it could be a concern. The only other tiny concern involves the porch. It is beautiful and enjoyable for the breeze and fresh air, but be aware it is a common area. We had guests next door sitting out through the evening talking and playing music on two separate nights. This is NOT the hotel's fault, but early/light sleepers need to take that into account. Except for that issue, time spent here was extremely rewarding and a pleasant stay is guaranteed! I look forward to my next visit!”
