Worst experience. My dog had a seizure on 11/11 we took her to this place and as soon as we went to open the door the nurse said they were closed another employee is walking out told us that our dog was dead and to wrap the dog in a blanket leave it in the garage and bring it back in the morning my answer to this nurse was we have kids how would you like me to deal with my children ?? Took my dog to Ruskin animal hospital where they were also closing but accepted us with open arms and assisted us with no problems.
Walk-in veterinary care hope you guys teach your staff the word empathy and how to deal with these types of situations with better care.
To the nurse thanks for telling me my Dog was dead but wrapping her in a blanket and leaving the dog in my garage was not really the best approach to this specially that you deal with animals all day and know the grief that people go through when losing a pet a daily basis. Showing a bit of empathy goes a long way. Very disappointing.

It was my first time taking my two new kittens for their first checkup. I’m always nervous going to new places, but the moment I walked in, the two girls at the front desk were so welcoming and you could see every vet tech and employee walking around with a smile on their face. The vibes were so positive and every animal that came in was so calm and peaceful.
The whole appointment went smooth and I noticed how personable each interaction with each client was. The prices seem very reasonable too.
Also, when they say they’re a walk in clinic, they truly are and they really do get to you pretty fast. Highly recommend!!! 😍

We have only been going to Walk In Vet for about ten months but in that time Dr Ramer and the entire team became our trusted team and support. We just lost our senior baby and the kindness and compassion they gave us along with the care was amazing.

I have been coming here for over 3 years and not once have I had a bad experience, friendly and personable atmosphere, the staff and the doctor go above and beyond to provide excellent service to make your family and pet feel comfortable at all times. I highly recommend, first class service!

The staff here care so much. Yes, they are sometimes challenging to get availability, but I've taken my dogs here for years. I can't thank them enough for their compassion for my senior (15 years+) dog. When we finally had to part, they took us immediately; gave us time to be ready; and afterward the cremation service they use sent us a beautiful condolence card.

I wanted to thank the staff for making the most difficult day a little brighter. We had to say goodbye after 15 years to our sweet Romeo. I could not have asked for a better farewell. The compassion shown to us in this time was remarkable. They walked us through the process and allowed us all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes. We are truly grateful to have found this place.

This last week I had Molly to WVC and the care and love that was provided was outstanding. Robert and Dr. Torres discussed a care plan and it has worked. Molly is doing much better in just three days. This is the best veterinary clinic I’ve ever been to. The staff and doctors are absolutely fantastic. They care for the animals as if it’s their own. Thank you WVC.

I took my dog mocha there a few times for a growth on her side. The last time she went in for it we decided to get it removed and have her spayed at the same time. They were great with her.

Everyone was really friendly, I've had trouble finding a vet that I like, I'm looking no further! It cost me almost $2,000 less than my former vet had quoted for a simple procedure.

The best vet in the world. I took my dog in who was suffering severe GI distress. These great people quickly prescribed meds and gave him a shot and in a matter of hours he was back to his old self. Thank you all again!

I'd like to thank the front desk personnel, the vet tech and Dr. Ramey helping me address a UTI concern with my cat Bruno. I have had to recently switch to a mobile vet as I am not as mobile as I used to be. But I wanted my cat to see a vet right away as I know how bad UTI infections can get. Thanks to all whom helped me bring Bruno in and out of the clinic and address his needs. Since then, he is back to his old self and has normal been having normal peeing levels. Thanks again for all the help.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Walk-In Veterinary Care in Apollo Beach. From the moment we walked in, the reception staff was welcoming, kind, and efficient. They made us feel immediately at ease and treated my dog with such genuine care and attention on her first visit.
The vet tech was incredibly patient and gentle, taking the time to comfort my dog and explain the next steps in her treatment clearly.
Dr. Ramer was truly outstanding—thorough, knowledgeable, and so caring. She took the time to answer all my questions, and provided thoughtful recommendations. I left feeling confident, supported, and grateful to have found such an amazing team in my new town.
Thank you to everyone at Walk-In Veterinary Care for going above and beyond. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care

Have been going here since the office opened and always had good experiences. The front desk were always pleasant and helpful and always knew my boy's name and Dr. Ramer was always truthful with whatever the problem was and very friendly. My boy passed away last October at home and when I called to find out what to do they referred me to Honor Thy Pet in which someone was sent to pick up my baby to put him to rest. The person who came was very sympathetic and was assuring that they would be very respectful with preparing him for cremation.
A week later I got the call from the vets office that his remains were there to be picked up and when I went to pick him up not one person at the desk said anything to me not even Dr. Ramer whom was sitting there that day not even a I'm sorry for your loss. I have been so upset about that and am having a tough time deciding if I want to take my other dog back there for his checkup
