I gave this review 24 hours to think over. I'm writing it in hopes that management will see it. I use this Winn Dixie as more if a convenience store than my place to shop even though it's closer to my house. Why? The attitude of the staff. I put my card in yesterday before the clerk was ready. She was super rude. I didn't do it on purpose. Her attitude never got better. One day later I'm at the Publix down the road. "Did you find what you needed?" "Is there anything else we can help you with?" "Have a nice day?" A big difference in the experience.

I really wanted to like this new Winn Dixie.... but unfortunately my first time will be my last time shopping here! I like to shop first thing in the morning when no one is really shopping so I don't have to be around the crowd. First impressions walking in was a nice produce section followed by a unique assortment of rows for natural food and keto products which is cool because you can't find this stuff at other stores in the area. Beyond this it was a fairly typical shopping trip it's just that they didn't have A LOT of things I wanted and was on my list. For example cottage cheese other than store brand. Anyways, the big deal breaker was at check out. None of the checkout lanes were manned so I had to do self-checkout. The automatic voice is blaring loudly each item name and cost, so I kindly ask the attendant to turn the volume off bc doing so myself was not an option offered on these self checkout kiosks. He literally came over and turned from 100% volume to like 75%. I asked him to turn it off bc it was annoying and he said it was against store policy. I reminded him that ALL other grocery store self checkout have option to turn off volume completely by yourself. He refused, so I continued scanning each item and the loud price count and item named continued to blare loudly. At 7am no one has time for that mess! This was my deal breaker. I left here and drove down the street to Publix to finish picking up items that this particular Winn Dixie did not have. I will not return here. I was hoping to finding an alternative to Publix, but honestly this is not it.

To Dennis, a manager; next time you have a choice of talking to a vendor or a customer first, choose the customer particularly when the customer was first. You were rude and walked right by me. I'll go to Publix moving forward.

Best Winndixie in the game. Amazing customer service. Outstanding grocery work. Dairy frozen always looks top notch. The management team is pretty great too. A for sure spot to shop.
