Was waiting at customer service when i saw a man walk behind the counter and when i asked him for help he looked at me with a nasty look and when I explained what i was waiting on he said "not my problem someone will be around" & rolled his eyes. i waited 10 more minutes.. in the mean time I realized i spoke to the STORE MANAGER which is absurd action from someone who is supposed to be running the store.

They are the most unprofessional managers and staff! Rude, condescending and arrogant. I will NEVER shop there again

love sales you have, stores are clean, well stocked, and employees are friendly and helpful!! one complaint--i am 79 and I have trouble reading small print on your weekly flyer--even with my glasses! Have had cataract surgery over a year ago and your flyer is the only thing I haven't been able to read since then; it is very frustrating and I can't possibly be the only senior citizen customer you have with same problem!!! Just make pics little smaller and letters a little larger would really make my life a little easier!!! thank you even though I don't really expect WD to make any changes!!!

I Was at the 5207 Normandy Blvd location just a few minutes ago. There was not one register open. All registers were closed and customers were forced to use the self checkout. There was no shortage of employees as there were at least half a dozen near the front of the store. No explanation or apology was offered. Customers had to use the self checkout or not get their groceries. If there had been a sign stating as such when I entered I would have turned around and left. I do not like the self checkout. Besides the fact that it costs people their jobs there is nearly always a problem if you buy produce or alcohol, or try to use reward card points or coupons. Plus the design is horrendous. It is barley sufficient when purchasing 2 or 3 bags worth of groceries, a full cart of groceries becomes a major headache. It was one thing when customers had a choice of whether to use it or a traditional Cashier. It is completely different story when a customer's choice is taken away without any notice beforehand. Add long lines and customers not familiar with the setup, and it becomes a disaster.

I gave this review 24 hours to think over. I'm writing it in hopes that management will see it. I use this Winn Dixie as more if a convenience store than my place to shop even though it's closer to my house. Why? The attitude of the staff. I put my card in yesterday before the clerk was ready. She was super rude. I didn't do it on purpose. Her attitude never got better. One day later I'm at the Publix down the road. "Did you find what you needed?" "Is there anything else we can help you with?" "Have a nice day?" A big difference in the experience.

I love my local store in Tarpon Springs FL but tonight I had a doordash order and when the card didn’t go through the manager Jared came over when I was talking to the very friendly cashiers, he stood over me with his arms crossed long enough to say “oh my god why are you still talking” when I was trying to help them figure out why. They wanted me to use my personal debit card and I told them I couldn’t do that and that I was sorry it wasn’t working and his response again was “wow your still talking”. I told him he was being incredibly flipping rude because I wasn’t doing anything wrong and he was making me uncomfortable and he told me to just leave and not come back because I cussed at him. Worst experience I’ve ever had. He accused me of being suspicious and every time they tried to help me he kept telling me to leave so I didn’t know what to do and it was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in a grocery store in my life. I am here multiple times a week for my own family of 5. People even stopped me on the way out to tell me they were sorry for how he was being and didn’t know why either. Please find a new manager for your TS location. Jared isn’t qualified at all.

I had the rudest experience at my local Wynn-Dixie. I was so flabbergasted about the treatment I actually called customer service and filed a complaint thinking they would appreciate the behavior. I saw a woman in a read shirt chatting with her back to me while trying to self-check out. I needed help so I very politely asked if she worked there. She spins around with a scowl starts pointing at the WynnDixie emblem and say to me “Ah Duhhuhu” basically calling me stupid. But I just wanting help checking out and it did not seem like the BOGOs were ringing up right. She came over started pushing a punch of its and walked off in a huff. Extremely unprofessionally and rude. But I still didn’t thinks were right because the savings weren’t reflected after the 1st rang up as it does at Publix do so ask again-boy was she annoyed , grabbed items our of my hands and in a belittling tone said I’m duh I told you to do it this way and the free is rlected st the end of the bill. I told her politely that was being rude, and before I could finish she turned to walk away, had enough I told her Publix employees always helped and are never rude - she turned and screamed back over 3 checkout lines - maybe you should leave and go shop at Publix. Name and a description was given to a customer service rep. It’s been 3-4 weeks and I’ve heard nothing. I guess Wynnewood-Dixie doesn’t care if it’s customers are treated unprofessionally because there are some things I can only buy there - they have the greatest baker cookie in the State. Haven’t been back to this store - on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville Florida

I really wanted to like this new Winn Dixie.... but unfortunately my first time will be my last time shopping here! I like to shop first thing in the morning when no one is really shopping so I don't have to be around the crowd. First impressions walking in was a nice produce section followed by a unique assortment of rows for natural food and keto products which is cool because you can't find this stuff at other stores in the area. Beyond this it was a fairly typical shopping trip it's just that they didn't have A LOT of things I wanted and was on my list. For example cottage cheese other than store brand. Anyways, the big deal breaker was at check out. None of the checkout lanes were manned so I had to do self-checkout. The automatic voice is blaring loudly each item name and cost, so I kindly ask the attendant to turn the volume off bc doing so myself was not an option offered on these self checkout kiosks. He literally came over and turned from 100% volume to like 75%. I asked him to turn it off bc it was annoying and he said it was against store policy. I reminded him that ALL other grocery store self checkout have option to turn off volume completely by yourself. He refused, so I continued scanning each item and the loud price count and item named continued to blare loudly. At 7am no one has time for that mess! This was my deal breaker. I left here and drove down the street to Publix to finish picking up items that this particular Winn Dixie did not have. I will not return here. I was hoping to finding an alternative to Publix, but honestly this is not it.

I was just at the Winn Dixie in Cocoa Beach across from Ron Jon’s. The customer service was fantastic here. I must mention Joy. She was especially helpful. Thanks Winn Dixie. You make shopping a pleasure.
