If you value your time and money, avoid this store. After moving to Apopka, I decided to shop here despite negative reviews, as it was the closest option. I purchased crochet hair for a specific style, paid in cash, and did not receive a receipt. While I usually do not return or exchange items, I found this concerning.
Strict return and exchange policies are understandable, but they necessitate ensuring customers receive receipts. I did not receive one, and when I attempted to make an exchange, I was told it was my responsibility to request a receipt through their POS system. It is the store’s duty to provide or at least inform customers about the receipt process. Failing to do so and then refusing to resolve the issue reflects poor business practices.
In hindsight, I should have heeded the prior negative reviews. Fortunately, I found a better store option just ten minutes away, where I had a fantastic experience and appreciated the variety they offered.

Literally just left out of here 5 minutes ago. I walked in no one was at the front. I walked towards the back because I've been here before. Just needed 1 pack of braiding hair. A black girl comes out ask if I need help finding anything I said no, she then says to let her know if I need help finding anything, then proceeds to still stand there, dancing. Like really, weird behavior. As a black person I'll rather be followed and profiled by an Asian person. DO BETTER! I come to see BLACK OWNED BUSINESS TO EXPECT THE OPPOSITE.
Edit: hovering around someone is not superb customer service. Having someone at the front greeting you is superb customer service. If I told you I don't need your help or assistance and that I will let you know if i do and you continue to stare me in my face, basically standing shoulder to shoulder that is not superb customer service. It's borderline rude and unsettling, but at least she walked(followed me) to the door. You right how I think reflects I who I am which is someone that is aware.
And judging by the other reviews...I never seen you volunteer in the community but I hope to one day.

Buyer beware!! I purchased a hot comb from this store, and the hot comb did not work and was corroding. There were no instructions on the packaging. Neither was there any information about temperature, so when I went to the store to exchange it, I was within 7 days of returning the item, which was stated on the receipt, and I informed the employee of the reason why I was there to exchange it. The employee could not make the decision; she had to contact the owner. I spoke with the owner, and we went back and forth, which was unacceptable when it comes to making sure that your customers are satisfied. I left the store with my item frustrated because of this situation, and I will not be supporting this small business at all.
First and foremost, I would never fabricate anything. I could have written a story about this situation, but I chose to focus on the important aspects of what happened. This could have been resolved in a different way if the owner had taken the time to listen to my concerns rather than go back and forth with unnecessary comparisons when it comes to small businesses. Which I found irrelevant to what the issue was about. An item that cost a little over $20 was worth it all to not satisfy a consumer. I stand by what I stated previously. Take a look at the pictures. There is corrosion, and this item is cheaply made, and again, there were no instructions inside the packaging, only what was on the back of the packaging. Yes, we did test it out. The only way to know if it worked was to use it.There is no temperature control to tell how hot the comb can get. Take this as a lesson on how to handle situations like this one differently.

always my first choice for a beauty supply store, they always have everything. shoutout to Zee because i was getting off work and needed my hair products to do my hair , even though the store closes at 7:00 i called and asked if it was okay to stay open for an extra minute because i was going to get there at 7:01 and she stayed back in order to help out, she was also knowledgeable about every item, such a great employee! love this store.

Brought braiding hair two packs with 3 bundles in it paid 20 seemed kind of pricey but it was convenient, cute small store though a little dark even during the day.

This place is greedy and lacks customer service. I sent my husband in with a picture of the type of hair to buy. The woman behind the register gave him the wrong hair that cost $60 more than the one he went in to buy .She even admitted it afterwards. He went back 5 minutes later with a receipt and unopened package to do an exchange but the store would not allow it. They refused to return the difference in payment.
