Along with the many things, I have a problem within this store.To begin with they don't accept apple or google pay. Then I'll tell you that until you're ready to check out. And they're nasty about it

I am an avid craft shopper and have always loved hobby lobby. The one located here though has a security gaurd that is just awful. Falsely accusing, abusive speech. He falsely accused me, officers even explained this, he still wanted me charged, fortunately their body cams showed his treatment of me, nothing on my person, and the prosecuting attorney dropped the case as soon as they were reviewed. He however still works there the last time I tried to go in. I've tried contacting corporate to no avail.
Just know your rights before going into this particular one. Be aware of everything you do, since even brandishing what I put in my pockets was my cell phone and cash wasn't good enough. Do not keep you purse in the cart with their items, and don't let the security gaurd touch it. He literally removed items I had just gotten from my mother before heading to store (little pendants with tags) saying that was theirs. I couldn't prove otherwise even though I had the officer note that the brands are sold in other craft stores but the stickers on what was in my cart were different.
I should have denied access to my purse but when he removed the cart from me my purse was still in there. I was just overwhelmed that I was being accused of stealing and hadn't even gotten close to the registers or front door to think straight at the time. I am not confrontational and a domestic abuse survivor so in the moment my fear took over. I am very grateful for the officers and body cams.
This happened last year and I never planned write a review, but an email to their corporate after we went to court was responded to but never actually looked into. So when google asked for a review since I passed by the that store while at the dollar tree, I decided why not. Maybe someone will see it and insure he is retrained or assigned a position where he can not intimidate.

BUYER BEWARE!!
Keep in mind that they have changed some things here. The weekly discounts aren't what they seem anymore. Say you have 50% off the weekly thing, like wall hangings, it doesn't count all wall hangings. Now they have on the price tag a thing called GIFT. That is not covered under the discount. So you will get up to the register and they will charge full price.
Also at this store I inquired about buying an item that had half the box ripped off with the contents taped to the remaining part of the box. I asked if there was a discount for that, and the manager was fairly brash and said that it is full price. This was on 6-22-2024. The cashier was sincere and I had no problem with her.
Looks like my Hobby Lobby shopping days are going to drastically be reduced. I guess there is still the clearance section...
