well, I took my car in. Turns out it needed a radiator, thermostat housing and thermostat. Now JK ain't the cheapest guys out there but you get what you pay for. Great job,, I even told them to throw in an oil/filter oil change on it. I'm happy to pay for quality work. These guys did a great job

You know when you bring your vehicle there it is going to be repaired properly and with good parts, they are out front with what has to be repaired and price

Made appointment to drop off my truck Tuesday. There was a hurricane. So they weren't open or maybe they were. But I had called no one answered and no one has returned my call. I left the detailed message. That's okay just like some of the other repair shops in this area thanks guys for nothing .

My deepest apologies. Until minutes ago I was unaware there was a third party shop involved in the previous repairs for the vehicle. I didn't mean to be dishonest nor was it my intent to mislead. I was misinformed on the history of repair shops used for this vehicle, and I assumed you were the same shop that had unjustifiably up sold my wife on previous occasions.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with your shop in recent repairs and I'm sorry I assumed you were the same shop that had blemished my outlook on your company. I appreciate your response and I only hope you can understand the frustration I was under when I posted initially believing you were that same third party. Seeing as you just found the radiator wired in reverse maybe you get a small peek into what we were dealing with.
Sorry once again for any issues my original post may have caused and thank you for your professionalism and understanding.
"I told them my car was smoking and overheating. They quoted me 1400 to fix an engine oil leak issue that they diagnosed themselves. Left the car with them for the day, they returned it to me, after charging me 1300 for power steering and a new solenoid. I left with a car that still smokes and overheats. I can drive without power steering. I can't drive if I'm sick from oil smoke inhalation or if my car catches on fire. Like any business, they're here to make money, if they think you're an easy mark, they don't care about one bad review."

My truck blew a coolant hose today, Saturday, in front of J & K. I’ve been driving past this place for years. Wow, what a gem in Apopka. It’s a family operation, these are the kind of people that know what’s wrong just by listening to your vehicle. They sourced the parts from Ford and had me back on the road in no time.
I thought I was going to get hosed (no pun intended) for a Saturday repair. It was very reasonable, thorough, and thoughtful. They could have just replaced the T coupling that blew out. Instead, they showed me the broken one and suggested I replace all the hoses and all the other T couplings for just a few dollars more in parts. And I went all in for a new pair of wiper blades too.
I’m happy to recommend J & K as a great local Apopka honest hard working family automotive repair shop.

Way overpriced. The father/son treated my mother and I like we were stupid and didn't know anything about cars. Was charged over $100 in processing fees just for using a damn credit card. They performed the service needed, but kept tacking on more and more. Will not be going back or recommending them to anyone.
