We went to get a male guinea pig to go with our other male, and were told that it was a male by two clerks there. All of the staff but one person (maybe and that's generous) seemed really incompetent and had no pet knowledge. Now we have to pay $700+ to get the FEMALE we bought from there spayed and hope we don't end up with babies. They also have a no refund policy which is already suspicious walking in. The store will be getting an earful from us at some point.

Buyer beware they don't warranty livestock even if they sell you a sick animal. They also don't work with you. And when you ask them questions because you are new to certain things you are not told everything you need to know about the animal.

I have been searching for 2 specific flavors of Fussie Cat, wet food, and couldn't find them together anywhere. The last two times I've needed it, I found it here. If they didn't have it, they would have ordered it. An associate there named Julia, is a great representative of this business. She returns calls, and reaches out to managers if she needs help. She's an asset to this business.

My boyfriend and I had a great first time experience at the store. Prices are so much better than online. Marcus was a huge help, and he gave us free sample of his favorite dog food. We’ll definitely go back there!

As a long time customer of Our Pet World in Apopka, who has spent considerable sums of money, I was rather shocked to learn ( via the young guy who I spoke to today on the phone when I called) that despite my turtle hatchling, which died in the span of just 2 months, which I purchased from them, that they have no guarantee on the sales of their pets. Yes, that's right folks....no guarantee.... so along with high prices, if your pet passes away, it apparently doesn't matter, as after you have left the store...BUYER BEWARE!!!! Thanks Our Pet World Apopka- You have just lost another customer.....Time to shut down!!!!!!!

Went to get a hamster habitat today. Don't line big box stores for such things if possible and picked this smaller store. Picked out a $100+ enclosure and supplies.When we got to the counter to check out with our items we were told the paper price on the enclosure was "old" and instead of $100, it's $180! No honor of the price on the box, and no apology. We left, and ordered the same enclosure on Amazon for $120 with next day delivery.Small business are best, except when they're not. Price competitively and provide good services and you'll win.

I’ve given this store two chances of shopping there.The first time I went about a year ago & the woman there was so rude and unfriendly. And I swore I’d never go back.Well today I went back again and the same thing. Rude, unfriendly, short answers to my questions etc.how do you want people to support your small business when you act like that?!I wasn’t rude, I just asked two very simple questions.But of 3 people working in there, none of them could help & had no knowledge about the questions I was asking about a product. How do you have people working in a pet store and none of them can help Or give info on your products.

Im from New York City, and I googled tgis olace to look for a carrier for my puppy. I called the store to ask questions and the gentleman on the phone was very pleasant also helpful. My mom, and I drove to the store, and the gentleman that had answerd remembered who I was from the prior phone conversation. He directed me to the perfect carrier for my pup. When it was time to cash out he, and the manger were very compliant ro our purchase. He also trimmed my pups nails. We had a wonderful experience at this store. Very friendly, helpful, and met our needs as customers. I believe the gentleman’s name was Mark or Marcus, and I totally can’t recall the nice lady in the store as well. Overall anytime I am in Florida I will be coming back. Thank you guyssss. Btw Ashton lovesee his carrier??

They always short you on crickets. Its not by a little but by alot. If you ask for 50 they will give you 20 or 30. Im sure they would give you one cricket if they could get away with it. Get crickets else where....
