Hours: RaceTrac is a well-known convenience store chain that has been serving the Southeast since 1934. The stores are always open and aim to provide a friendly, clean environment with a variety of food and drink options. Customers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee from the coffee bars, along with grab-and-go food stations offering pizza, sandwiches, salads, snacks, and roller grill items like hot dogs and empanadas. Many locations serve fresh, in-store-made pizza daily, and the staff is often praised for being friendly and helpful. Additionally, RaceTrac offers affordable gas prices for Regular, Mid-grade, Premium, Diesel, and E85 fuel, making it a popular choice for drivers. However, some reviews highlight issues such as lack of pump maintenance, overflowing trash, and inadequate help at the pumps. There have been concerns about safety, with reports of uncomfortable situations involving strangers, and a serious fly infestation at one location raised health concerns, especially about beverages and food. Despite these problems, many customers appreciate the convenience, cleanliness, and helpful staff, including instances where employees went out of their way to assist, such as returning lost items. Overall, RaceTrac remains a favorite for convenience, but some locations could improve upkeep and safety measures.
