Bad attitude with the employees. Nothing against advance auto parts in general but the employees at this store specifically are terrible. They are rude and stand-offish and not helpful in the least. They have made me waste hours with their “he said she said.”They have made me great fans of the store right across the street. I used to be “advance auto parts only” but now I find the people across the streets SO MUCH more helpful in comparison that I can’t believe these same people are still working there with their nasty sour attitudes.

My mechanic told me to purchase a resistor module and blower motor for my vehicle. He said, they're located in the same place in my vehicle and might as well get both in case the resistor module doesnt fix the problem. He would start with the resistor module and if the issue continued, it would most likely be the blower motor. Well the resistor module fixed the issue. So we did not need or use the blower motor...I came into your store to return the blower motor I had purchased from another store that I DID NOT USE.. Kristo was the behind the counter. I realized I had grabbed the wrong receipt from my home when I got to the counter, but I was going to see, if they could look it up for me. I proceeded to tell him it was a return, before I could mention the receipt, he had opened the box and immediately said, I had use the part and they would not take it back. I know for a fact, my mechanic or I did not use it. We found the issue and did not need it. Kristo proceeded to argue with me that it was used and he was not going to take it back with a very rude and condescending attitude. I was adamant that I did not use it. He barked, he's going to get his manager. He came back a few minutes later and said, the manager is busy on the phone, GIVE ME YOUR RECEIPT!. Well at this point I go to explain that i grabbed the wrong receipt on accident and asked, if he could look it up. He said, he can't look it up and just to go back to the store I purchased it from and return it!Overall his argumentative attitude & rude demeanor was uncalled for and definitely not appreciated. I was just trying to return a part. I will never be back in that advance auto because of his actions towards me..... Kristo is a very, very rude young man.Btw, i got the right receipt and went to the next advanced auto down the road. They accepted my return with no problems or issue. Which tells me Kristo needs to learn how to have proper customer service when dealing with people.....

Kevin with the store on Atlantic and Mayport was very helpful with helping us realize we had a dead battery over a bad alternator. Saved us a lot of time and $$, very knowledgeable about what’s going on. Will be back. Give that guy a raise.

1 star. One of the customers left dogs inside the car hot day. All windows up. I went inside to ask how's that car was and personnel was irritated with me doing that. ??

The worst customer service I have ever received. Went in looking for a simple part, was asked what kind of vehicle I drove and immediately was mocked by the guy at the counter. He actually said "I was hoping you would say something cooler than that" when I replied telling him what car I drove. He continued to make patronizing jokes about politics and where I must be from simply based off of the car I drove. After listening to all of this, I learn that they did not have the part I needed, when I was then told that I should have bought a better car. (Mind you my car is a current updated Subaru, they just happened to be out of stock in the part at the moment.) If you want an attitude and obnoxious sarcasm, maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise a total waste of time unfortunately.
