“I had the misfortune of being involved in two minor accidents within two months of each other after >20 years of being accident free, both incidents were not my fault. No structural issues due to the accidents, just cosmetic dents and bad paint. When working with my insurance they asked me what repair shop I preferred, I had no idea of a good or bad auto repair shop to use. They recommended Joe Hudson as a shop they guaranteed the work of, I said “OK”.
I brought my car to the Joe Hudson and found the two ladies working in the front to be friendly, helpful and professional. I got my car back the following week and it looked great, very happy.
A month later and the second accident, I when straight back to Joe’s. They repeated the same quality of work with the same professionalism, updating me through text messages on the progress of my car. There is even 2 car rental shops within walking distance of the shop. (The rental shops had a shuttle service). The back plastic bumper covering did get replaced due to damage. I hope to never need their service again… but will not hesitate to go back if needed.”

Melissa Cake was my assigned contact there and she kept me updated on the repairs and fighting with the insurance company over repairs. Mellisa really made me feel she was fighting for me.
When I went to pick up my car I was amazed! They not only repaired the damage but buffed out some other scratches. The car was cleaned inside and out and looked like it came off the show room floor!

“Communicative, hard working, honest, explanatory dudes. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU WANT IN A MECHANIC!?
I’ve been restoring my older vehicle for a few years and I am very happy to not only find an honest shop that works on older vehicles, but also does it right. They listen to me and find issues I don’t know about.
I used to go to Bridges Auto Repair and Electric in Mayport, but they double charged me constantly. Their explanation was always that they hired a bad mechanic or front desk person. Auto Clinic finds issues while fixing the problem and FULLY explains it you, without excuses. Their front desk is knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Due to this, I don’t have to double pay for labor and waste our time/money.
My vehicle is running better. My pockets are fatter and more than ANYTHING, I trust them.”
