Let me tell you something about GATE — these Florida-exclusive fuel stops are like a hidden gem for road warriors. You don’t see them outside the state, but once you do, you realize why Floridians swear by them.
I’ve been all over this country — from the icy highways of Montana to the dusty backroads of Texas — and you just don’t find this combo anywhere else: spotless bathrooms, friendly staff, and a food lineup that rivals a mini food court.
Stopped at this Jacksonville GATE for a quick fuel-up and restroom break, and man, it was impressive from the jump. The exterior? Clean and well-lit. The inside? Organized, bright, and packed with fresh food options. Even though I didn’t grab a bite this time, the selection was massive — hot food, sandwiches, drinks, snacks, you name it.
The staff deserves a shout-out too. Super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. You can tell they actually take pride in keeping their store running right.
Bottom line: GATE sets the standard for what a convenience store and fuel stop should be. If you’re cruising through Florida and spot one — pull in. Top-tier cleanliness, customer service, and convenience across the board.

I like Gate gasoline, but there refill coffee is .50 more than all other stations and it's not any better.

We had been driving all day and finally close to our destination when we saw that we needed gas and a restroom. We had events to get tonthat night with more drivng to do.
This was a nice, clean gas station with a nice convenience store. Well lit and friendly employee. They had a good selection of snacks, candy, drinks and misc stuff. Gas prices were average $3.33 per gallon regular.

I don't understand why they keep pulling their breakfast items (taquitos, burritos) before breakfast is over. It's 9:15, and there are no more breakfast items. Other Gate locations in this area don't do this.

If you’re coming to the beach to go boating and need ethanol-free gas, you can come here! We passed several gas stations that don’t have EF gas but this Gate does!
