I am 32 years old and hurt my back doing gymnatics 20 years ago. After having surgery due to an 80% paralyzed leg, professionals told me to be happy I was able to walk. I have actually never stopped working out for long periods of time even though I was not supposed to. I used to take medicine to be able to work out which is not the way to go. It’s not easy to accept working out 15 hours a week to nothing because of injuries (back and knees especially). When I moved to Jacksonville, a friend told me about Scott. I wanted to start working out in a healthy way. I haven’t been pain free in over 20 years but Scott worked his magic and I have never felt this good. I am way stronger thanks to Scott’s workouts. I can not thank him enough! I know I am in great hands. His workouts really work.

Scott has done a great job at keeping the gym clean and spaced out during COVID. I always feel super accomplished after one of his workouts, and the gym environment is always friendly and welcoming. Definitely give it a try if you haven't been yet.

I injured my back in 2017 and when it was time to strengthen and stabilize, I knew I wanted to train with the most knowledgeable person I could find. As a chiropractor, I was familiar with Dr. Hernandez's background and training, so I knew he was the best fit for me. I have come so far since starting to work out at Kai Fitness - I'm stronger, my back is much more stable and I really enjoy the workouts in the small group setting. Dr. Hernandez tailors the trainings to each individual and is especially skilled at creating modifications based on each person's ability. I highly recommend Kai Fitness for people of any fitness level and especially those in need of training after recovering from an injury. Dr. Hernandez is the best!

Highly recommend training here. Great prices for awesome training sessions and quick results. The trainers are extremely friendly and motivating as well as all of the people I have met here while training. Great group of people that welcome you in with open arms and make you feel like you belong there. After going here for a couple months I would not go anywhere else. Been on a break for a while but can't wait to get back into the gym with Scott.

Scott Hernandez is a extraordinary trainer , in less than one year my body has been transformed. Considering that I have two bad knees and neck issues that is a huge accomplishment. I have several friends who have been going to Kai Fit for years, they look so amazing it inspired me to join, Scott makes sure that I don’t injure myself and work out using movements that do not hurt. But most importantly I feel great, better than ever. I am totally addicted. Lastly the people I work out with are fun and upbeat. It’s a great experience. Don’t wait! I’ve known Scott for years and he has always been my absolute go-to for any kind of injury or issue for myself, and my kids. He is always spot-on in his diagnostics and treatment. He took especially great care of my son who was a competitive gymnast for many years. Also, his approach to training is the best to stay injury free or resolve an injury. I’ve been going to Kai Fitness for over four years and I’ve never had one day of exercise the same as the session before. Scott oversees your session and makes sure that you don’t hurt yourself and if you do he will readjust your program. I highly recommend Kai Fitness for your fitness and health.
