My family and I just moved to this area of Jacksonville so I needed a new nail salon to make my new go to place for myself & my daughter. Yesterday everything was done great. My daughter’s nails looked adorable with the cat eye and my nails were dark blue matte and pretty. Well when I got home and looked at them further I noticed my right hand looked perfect and my left hand was lumpy and uneven (not filed or drilled properly). I absolutely hated the way it looked but was gonna let it slide because I didn’t want to waste anymore of my time. BUT, in the middle of the night the tip snapped off of one of the nails so I had to go back this morning. Since I was going back I figured I’d tell them about my other nails also and get them fixed. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted with a smile or anything. I told them I was here yesterday and one broke & the nail tech pointed to his chair without a smile or a word. I sat down and the nail tech sat down a few moments later still no words spoken. I then asked if he could fix the lumpy nails and showed him each nail compared to the other hand and he said he was not going to fix it because “all I got was a fill” …. But even if all I was getting was a fill if my nails were uneven when I walk in, it was and is your job to fix my nails & to even them out when I’m paying for that exact service to have my nails look nice.. when I showed another employee both hands she offered to give me half my money back and I said no. I do not want my money back I want my nails done properly. Another customer even looked at me and told me the nail tech wasn’t even listening to me. To which I said I know. So I sat in silence for a few moments and asked one more time if he could fix my 4 still messed up nails. He said yes, took my hand and took a nail file to grind down till smooth and he repainted. As he finished I said “they look perfect thank you” and he got up and walked away with no word or smile. I told him I just moved to the area and after having the best nail tech in my old area I informed him I was looking for a new salon closer to home and this place had good reviews. After I said this the nail tech told me I was disrespectful to him by saying my old nail tech in a totally different city was the best where I used to live. Even though I was in his salon now, giving him a try to attempt to make him my new tech in my new area. I was telling him I had the best tech where I used to live and was trying to find a new tech & this is the rudeness I get. When I left the nail tech didn’t whisper a peep even after I said “thank you have a good day”. The rest of the coworkers said goodbye. Even the customer said goodbye.. but the tech I had? He walked away from me and didn’t say a single word. To top it all off he was the manager of the salon. So I literally just had to sit there and take his disrespect & rudeness. Only the fellow customers came to my defense, which is sad.
Update to after getting them fixed and going home. While cooking dinner ANOTHER tip broke… while shaking a cheese container… so this time I went somewhere else and was taken care of properly.

The prices are extremely fair, especially for the quality and care you receive. You can tell they value building long-term relationships, not just quick transactions—most of their clients are regulars, and it’s easy to see why.
If you’re looking for the best nail salon in Atlantic Beach and Mayport, this is it. I won’t go anywhere else!

I have been here twice. The first time, the young gentleman who put on my new set did not understand what I wanted clearly. So the owner finished my set and it turned out nicely. Even though the first experience was not the best, it was handled correctly and with care. I went back for a fill in and they made sure my nails were exactly how I wanted.

Very nice people, clean and quiet atmosphere. I got a mani and pedi. Love my pedi but my mani wasn't it. Never going back. Paid 45 for the full set gel short. I found another nail tech, did an amazing job to fix my nails

As customer for 6 months, trying to give this place a chance, I can actually say this place is the worst nail salon I have ever attended. I scheduled an appointment for my last visit and when I arrived they didn't even remember and greeted me by saying "we are very busy". I waited an hour and was not able to get the services requested. The lead nail technician(wife) rushed through my manicure. She only added 1 coat of gel polish and the next day my nails began to break. After a week and a half, I literally had to clip my nails because they were breaking off at the root. I previously had 2 other nail technicians here and had no issues. The husband and wife were the only 2 working this day. I now have to start over with my nails. This particular visit was the last straw. They apologized for the wait which was not the issue for me however, I did not wait an hour to get a rush job which has ultimately caused me to clip the remaining nails because of the rushed service. I will not be returning because I am sure my business will be appreciated elsewhere.

The gentleman that did my nails was fantastic. Cleaned and shaped them up and they’re perfect. My last set at a different salon was a hot mess with various lengths and shapes. Levy nails did a fantastic job and was fairly priced. Couldn’t be happier!
