It is hard for me to convey just what a terrible experience we had at Atlantis Country Club today. Let me start by saying that this is my home course and I golf here at least once a week. I moved into Atlantis recently and have been considering becoming a member and taking lessons here. Today changed my mind, however, and made me feel like I never want to golf at this course again. To begin the starter yelled at our foursome while on the first tee box. He yelled at us 3 times to hurry up and get off the tee box. What he didn’t realize was that the twosome he put out in front of us was just around the dog leg. My average drive is 270 and for sure I would have hit into them if i tee’d off. I tried to explain this to him at a distance but he just kept yelling at us to get going. The problem was they had a mixture of people that had booked on GolfNow and regulars who live in the neighborhood who don’t book teetimes. This is obviously not our problem. I went ahead and tee’d off and of course I hit the ball in front of the twosome ahead of us which I felt bad about. The same starter then proceeded to follow us during our entire round as a ranger and tell us to hurry up. It completely ruined our experience. It took all my control to not lose my temper. The pace of play is 4 hours at this course and we finished in 3 hours and 25 minutes - fast for a foursome! This was even with us letting 3 twosomes play through us. One of my friends was playing golf for the first time and so he played best ball with me. He asked if this is how it is whenever you play golf and I assured him it wasn’t but that this course catered to an older, grouchier, less friendly crowd. The starter matched the clientele. If you want to have a good time with your friends golfing go to Palm Beach National. Such a better staff and better run facility. Palm Beach National caters to friends out to play for a good time together as much as golf. Atlantis is the opposite (at least in the morning). Additionally the tee boxes and green are in really bad shape here. Added insult to injury.

Shocking service. Guy at the pro shop puts the phone down mid conversation. No shame

I love this course but Pete (picks up the phone and is a jerk). The website is not great when it comes to booking times since it charged me for the whole group instead of just holding the tee time. He yelled at me and gave me a phone number of Golf Now (I did not book through them). I will play the course tomorrow but be careful around Pete. I think he has an anger issue and may be dangerous.

A course with a nice layout, shabby maintenance, discourteous members, and rangers to match. We just played a 3:40 round (with a 15 min wait at the turn) as a foursome, and had a ranger breathing down our neck and the members behind us heckling the whole way.On the bright side, the hole maps on the card are inaccurate, and most of the water is invisible from the tee blocks. If you play it daily, and want to pump out 3hr rounds, this is the course for you. If you're looking to try out a new course on vacation, give this one a pass.

The Atlantis Golf Course is great! Fun to play. The drive range isn't that long but overall a great place if you are looking for a semi private golf course near Lake Worth / West Palm Beach FL area.

Conditions - 7/10 (tee boxes for the most part nice and clear differences between rough and fairway, silty sand in bunkers were rough)Greens - 8.5/10 (ran consistent around a 9 speed, few had some large cuts out of it, overall solid and the best attribute of the course)Design - 2/10 (incredibly boring)Clubhouse - 2/10 (ok halfway house, small but decent pro shop, men’s locker room is ok, nothing special all very small and quite dated, no bathrooms on whole course)Range - 2/10 (irons only, can’t bring the carts, poorly maintained, little to no distance gauges, pay for balls)Pace of play - 4:30+ (very slow, no starter support)

Played here twice. The first time was a while ago and the other day was my second time. The first time I was here I remember it being a decent track in good shape. I feel now that it has become way overpriced, way too crowded, and the conditions are not worth the money or the aggravation of waiting 5.5 hours to play golf. However, it is still a fun course to play.

For the price of $95 I wouldn’t recommend it. If the greens were better then it wouldn’t have been that bad. Every green on the back nine was covered in sand and rolled awful. Wish they told me that when I made a tee time!!!!!!!

Not sure why it doesn’t let you give 0 stars but sure I guess it’ll be 1. Not sure who’s running this place but it’s become ridiculous. Teeing off 20-30 mins after tee times is unacceptable. Pace of play here is now 6 hours. Be prepared. Rude staff and on top of it everyone is gone by 2pm. Don’t bother coming here anymore

Monday the 13th, three of us played the Atlantis course. The course assigned a 70 year old man to complete our foursome. This man choose to smoke pot in the cart from the moment we teed off. On the turn at the 9th hole we went in to speak to the representative at the club house to request another cart for our friend who was stuck riding with this disrespectful man. We were told there were no extra carts available. Which we all know is BS. At the end of the round our buddy who had to ride with this man went in to explain the situation to the woman at the counter. Her reply to our woman friend was we cannot control what goes on in the course. We will never play this course again or recommend it to our LPGA Amateur League members. So if a person assaults us at their golf course they will not take action, but if our spouse is not wearing a collar shirt he cannot play. Smoking pot in public is illegal in Florida. Obviously this course has shown a lack of respect for women golfers.
