BEST WESTERN COMPLAINT 3-13-2024 Unfriendly Greeters at front desk. Only 2 of them were pleasant and greeted you every time you came and went. Nicole was the worst. We got notice that the hotel was having spectrum come into rooms to replace a cable on tv. We were gone the whole day. Got home late and went right to bed. The next morning, we realized our refrigerator had been unplugged. It was located right by the cable to the tv. We had half of a pizza, full meatball sub and some quesadillas that we were planning to have for supper. That and almost of whole pack of string cheese was lost. The refrigerator was leaking and all wet on the floor from the freezer and of course all our bottled water was warm. Went to front desk, Nicole was there, explained the situation, she never apologized, did not know what to do and just wrote the issue down on paper. We were leaving for the day and ended up having to request a talk from the manager when we returned. The lady at the front desk when we returned was WONDERFUL, I unfortunately did not get her name. Basically got a $20.00 refund which we still have not seen. And it cost us about $45.00 to go out to eat that night. Not a fair trade in my book. Breakfast overall was very good, the 2 ladies during the week very pleasant and nice, the French Toast was so hard for 3 days that we broke at least 3-4 forks and knives trying to cut it up. The only wrapped utensil was the knife. The spoon and Fork (which are what we put in our mouth) was not wrapped. There was absolutely NO HAND SANITIZERS anywhere in that hotel. Not even at breakfast! The room itself had a smell, the refrigerator looked what to have been a pop exploding in it, not cleaned at all. There were 2 housekeepers on our floor throughout the week and were very nice, personable, friendly, always smiling and I tipped them at the end even though we did not use their services at all the entire stay. The TV was a whole other issue. There was no channel line-up in the room, Had to go down to front desk to get a copy. There was no guide on the tv, could not tell what was on or coming on. Out of all the channels they listed, there were 4-5 that we never got including a major channel, ABC. Now why put the channel line up for rooms and not have those channels? There was never any liners for the ice bucket, let alone most of the time, there was no ice in the machines. (And no we did not fill coolers, only my water cup every morning). I had to go out and buy clorox wipes for the fridge and microwave, very nasty. And I am not a germ phob but I am a Liver Transplant and immunosuppressed and your hotel was nothing but germfest. Highly disappointed in the hotel overall, and for the price of $239.48 a night WITHOUT tax is beyond being overpriced for what we got. We came down for the RussMatt Baseball Invitational. Our first year of hopefully the next 4. I will never return to your hotel. Your "Springbreak price" is out of the norm for us blue collar workers. I found a cottage with a community pool just as close to baseball park for 60% less price. Also, the older gentleman that worked the front desk in afternoons and evenings was also very pleasant and courteous and helpful. Just a sad day when a basic hotel cannot be run with professionals and courteous behaviors let alone cleanliness and sanitization procedures.

So clean, bright and welcoming when you walk in the door. The staff is awesome, helpful with information about the area and patient. The breakfast was awesome and always replenished. The staff kept the room clean and stocked. It's close to walmart, gas stations and restaurants. The rooms were as bright and cheerful as the lobby. The beds were so comfortable. We are in thus area at least twice a year, this will be our hotel of choice from now on.

Nice place, unfortunately our room smelled horrible. Like something wet that had not dried properly, think wet clothes left in the washer for days. It was bad.

I really enjoy my stay here. The hotel staff is friendly. I normally stay in the same room when I am there and I am greeted with a smile, the exact items I need to work, and they always stop by to check on me. Lindsay and Lised have always been helpful and go the extra mile to make sure I enjoy my stay.

Honestly not worth it. I paid $148 for 1 night and was told at check in there was an additional charge of $150 deposit, (i was not informed this when making the reservations )we were informed would be put back on my card at check out. For almost $300 i could have stayed somewhere else. Bed was made when we came in but there was scuffs on the walls, broken/ damaged wood on night stands and the cabinets where the fridge was and a few other concerns which made us keep our infant children in the pack/play we brought. Thankfully due to past experiences i took pictures of everything upon entering before we even brought our things in. I’ve been round and round with who ever was at the front dest, customer care and my bank over the $150 “deposit” and I’m very upset about everything. Things should be made a bit more clear when making reservations and all damages should have been repaired before to our stay. Photos below are photos of the wood, warped mirror, scuffs, cracked shower, peeling carpets and more. We only stayed because i was told i would still be charged, unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience for us

After checking in, I jumped into the elevator and went to the 3rd floor. As the elevator got to the top floor it made a very unique screeching sound and didn't do much to make me comfortable. When I entered the room I was greeted by an odd odor but chalked it up to the temp not being low enough as it was very humid.I turned the temp down and it seemed to help. Middle of the night I woke up to some uninvited guests. We came across several cockroaches in the bathroom and nightstands/television stand.I notified the front desk and was told that all they could do is spray pesticides in the room and that there was nonother rooms available. After speaking to another family in our group, it was brought to my attention that the 2nd floor also had cockroaches. They came into my room and sprayed and we were told that we needed to stay out of the room for a few hours. After time had passed, we went to the room and immediately felt negative effects from the strong smell of the pesticides.I informed the front desk we would be leaving due to to overall situation and asked for a refund. She told me that she wouldn't give me a refund and magically another room appeared. At this point there is no way I would stay there. She informed me she spoke to the GM and due to the fact that housekeeping was gone and they couldn't resell my poisoned room that they would not refund us for the night we weren't staying.Last but not least they told me that while the elevator was having issues they were not willing to have it fixed over the weekend because that was just too expensive.Buyer beware. This place says customer happiness is number one, but talk is cheap.

Prices in the area are higher than you'd expect, generally speaking. I've been going there often because my son goes to college at Florida Polytechnic University. This hotel is conveniently located for me. Place is quiet, clean, and relatively well priced. Rooms are OK.Food & drinks: The included breakfast is better than most without being extraordinary.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Kim, the front desk girl, was amazing! She was so attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was perfect! Daily options were posted, from scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, bagels, fruit, waffles, juice, coffee etc. They offered so many options. Could not have asked for anything more. Price was spot on too. Thank you
