Deli only! This store is now famous with us for lazy Deli workers and using old product to save Publix. Third time today got a sub with old bread. They are too cheap to throw away the day old rolls. I'm done! Will never go back! 1st time I ate the terrible sub. 2nd time I drive back and showed the deli manager the super thick cut meat and crumbling bread (day old or older) She had to cut fresh meat cause she said all the meat on their make table was thick cut. The truth is the lazy workers refuse to cut the meat the meat thin because it takes longer. NEWsflash idiots, you're paid by the hour so it's okay to take longer!!! Then she walked to the bakery to get a fresh roll because she knew they had no fresh rolls at their station. Publix doesn't seem to learn that if you sell junk in very and over no one will buy it eventually. It's almost impossible to get a pound of sliced ham thin. They move the dial half way thru and you find out at home. I refuse it now and make them slice it again. This is how service is in America now, half-assed effort anyone under 35. Zero work ethic. How they ruin a good thing.

This is a beautiful store. I love to go to the deli and pick up a fresh meal and eat it on the second floor seating area.

ordered sub on line at 5:30pm. Friday, Nov 3 and paid on line. Said would be ready at 6:05 p.m. Got there, no sub ready. 3 people in line ordering subs, got theirs and left. Still no sub. They knew I was there and said a few words to me. at 6:25 they started my sub, left store at 6:30. They must have lost the order which was paid for.

I am in out of state visitor, Atlanta to be exact visiting my family here in auburndale. I don't think there's ever a time that I can go past a Publix or not stop in to see what they have then my store might not have currently. I was told the store is less than 6 months old or something like that. In Florida the structure of their stores is completely different from Georgia. This store has two floors. I am not sure if customers have access to the floors. It also is on the darker side. I noticed Publix is building stores with a dark ceiling and different lighting now. I am not necessarily a fan of that but I am a fan of newness. The deli and hot bar section is bravo. It kind of sits in the middle of the floor instead of against the wall so you can walk completely around it just about I think yes you can. The good thing about that is that the customers are not all condensed in one area they're all the way around the bar. The selections are chef's kiss! The staff is very friendly and courteous. I found some clearance items in the store that I was very happy about and the quality of the food was very good. The only thing that was weird to me was the bakery is in the very back of the store all the way to the left behind the aisle of wine. I found that to be very strange so very used to the bakery being in the front of the store. I will also like to mention that they had handicap carts available and powered up. That is very good of them. Walmart could never. I will continue to visit the store because it's literally around the corner from my family's house.

I will say that this Publix is a great addition to the neighborhood. But I will say that Walmart prices are lower. But we still take advantage of there BOGO offers. And quick pick up items.

Please fix your sub station and retrain your employees who work at that specific area. It’s quite honestly disgusting how things are kept. You have produce mixed with deli meats and cheese not to mention the amount of flies I saw on the actual food. Wanted to suggest that for everyone’s health and safety employees creating subs should be required to wear masks. Standing in line for 40-50 min for a sub you witness a lot. A lot of clearing of throats without covering, leaning in and reaching over food while they’re talking all over the toppings, sneezing close proximity to the food. They can’t hold their nose with hands so they do their best to cover with arm. Still leaves germs flying all around. Honestly it leaves me with questions of what else happens throughout the day?! The past three times I’ve had to skip out on lettuce because it’s definitely not fresh and employees are okay serving it that way. I could continue but I think I’ve stated the important factors here. I continue to come back and give it another try and every single time I come home regretting it. Please do better, if I wanted this type of experience I would go to subway and not wait 40-50 min for a sub.

THIS PUBLIX ROCKS! We just moved to Lakeland and recently found this amazing Publix about 15 minutes east of us just off I-4 in Auburndale. The store is super clean and extremely well lit. The shelves are organized and always fully stocked. The Publix team at this store is incredibly friendly, engaging and knowledgeable - every department, every time. I have to give special mention to Christabelle, who walked up to me as I was pushing my cart which contained my reusable bag full of groceries and asked, with a lovely smile, "Can I take your cart for you?" THAT was a fantastic end to a wonderful shopping experience! Major kudos to the managers at this Lake Juliana Publix for training, overseeing and leading a great team! We drive past four Publix stores to get to this one, and it is worth the few extra miles. Great job, everybody!

Incredibly clean and modern store.Need to pay closer attention to produce, as the plums were so overripe they were oozing and smelled.Checkout staff didn't offer to load the groceries, which is always offered at every other Publix, despite it not being terribly busy.

I will be calling the bakery to complain aswell but I wanted this to be public. This was the cake I received. For my wedding. I was so upset when I saw it. This cake was supposed to have a few solid colors (purple and pink) and a few ombré. The second photo is a reference of what we wanted+make changes to. This isn’t what I discussed with the baker. Not to mention the look of the flowers…This is not acceptable. We ended up buying artificial flowers to fix it. The taste of the cake was great don’t get me wrong, but I don’t understand how this was approved to give to a bride and a groom.

Beautiful new store . Great choices. Has an eating area upstairs that overlooks the store or you can go on a patio with a view outside. There are stairs and an elevator to go to this area. It even has a microwave if you purchase something from the many selections in the deli cold cases.

Absolutely LOVE this Publix. It just opened not long ago. It's closer to me & I love the new setup. Everything looks great & organized perfectly. The upstairs balcony where u can sit inside or outside balcony to eat. There's wifi, tables, bathroom. Elevator for those who rather not take the stairs or are not able to. Everyone is friendly & helpful. Everything just looks better at this location to me. I was already excited when I heard they were opening one right down the road. Plus, I'm not a fan of the one in Auburndale. Never thought I would say that about a Publix. So, since this one opened it is "My Favorite"

This could easily be the best store in the Publix chain with so many things done to perfection, but the Delicatessen, produce, and inventory management continue to be the reasons this is less than the most pleasurable place to shop. Their biggest disappointment continues to be the Delicatessen. The Delicatessen is the focal point of this store with great offerings right when you walk in the front door, but they lack the urgency to get time conscious customers in, out, and on with their meal. They are consistently out of inventory, short staffed, and always focused on orders for customers that are not in the queue. On our last visit it was around dinner time. There was a point where there were no employees behind the Delicatessen counter with half a dozen people waiting in line. We witnessed basic safe food handling violations which is directly related to poor or possibly no training. Unfortunately, the Delicatessen gets worse and worse with each visit. Whatever Publix is doing to fix this store's Delicatessen problems isn't working. Publix should seriously consider their customer's experience and shut this area down until they can put the right talent in place to run it properly to make it a pleasure. The store is quite aware of their inventory problems as they make extensive use of the cards covering the price tags on the empty shelves. It is interesting that the Produce staff don't appear to be proactive in removing decaying produce. Their reaction when the rot is brought to their attention is amiable and the rotting produce is immediately removed.

So nice to have a grocery store closer than 11 miles away! Although store and parking lot are quite small for this booming area, when you go before 10a most weekdays can find parking and not be stuck in store for hours.

I have always liked publix. Shop there a lot mainly because it's right down the street from us. Always clean and friendly. Good food selection. We're shopping there less now because of inflation and can find a lot of the same products (brand names) somewhere else for up to $2.00 less on an item. This adds up when buying multiple items. Still watch for the Publix Bogo's.
