We’re from New York where you can get any product from any cabinetry designer so people always ask why we went with a designer who was based in Aventura, Florida. We spoke to no fewer than ten designers in Florida and another ten in the New York area and once we connected with Kay and Fernando, their positive demeanor, creativity and flexibility won us over!When we came into the showroom, we were shopping for a closet with a different vendor. Before we left, we spoke to Kay briefly and she offered us some magazines and catalogs. We liked what Kay had in their kitchen showroom so we came back the next day to look at kitchens. Kay wasn’t in but her architect Fernando was there. Fernando was so helpful and thoughtful with his feedback and suggestions that we really started seriously considering renovating our kitchen with them, even though they are based in Florida. We loved the Scavolini designs and products, and Kay and Fernando were an awesome team.Before we started with Eurocucina, we talked to the top kitchen/closet people in the industry and everyone wanted to charge us a fee just to discuss ideas or allow us to see their designs. Kay and Fernando trusted us not to take their designs and run away to another designer with them. We were able to get so much farther along into the design process that it made us certain that we wanted to do the redesign with them because we saw these amazing renderings (that no one else wanted to show). Kay and Fernando answered all our questions and they had an impressive eye for detail and true passion for the project. We went through several iterations and we believed that if they could make something that looked as awesome in real life as it did in the drawings, we had to move ahead and hire them.My kitchen is awesome. We started breaking the rules by making things asymmetrical, having most of our kitchen storage space exposed and visible through mirrored glass, including LED lights everywhere, mixing light and dark cabinetry, including a glass cabinet on the end of one of two islands, installing a drawer microwave in the island and more!Once we realized how good Kay and Fernando are at what they do, we started considering having them design a wet bar and a walk-in closet.We really love the Scavolini color palette that we used in the kitchen so when we started talking about a wet bar in the basement, we were able to use the same color palette, lights, cabinets and shelves that we chose for our kitchen. It was like an extension of the kitchen which makes downstairs feel less like a basement and more like a family room.For my closet, people kept giving us exorbitant prices to include LED lights or put in glass cabinet doors. We talked to the major closet chains but they were interested in cookie cutter things we could almost do ourselves. Once we started talking to Kay and Fernando about it, we started brainstorming about how we could co-design a closet like no one else’s.In the end we were able to coordinate a renovation of all three areas. They made sure we had local expert designers and we stayed in contact throughout the entire process either via Zoom, text, phone, and WhatsApp! Of course, we were affected by the “COVID” delays in shipping and delivery but they always kept us in the loop regarding our status and made calls on our behalf. They personally spoke with the installers, electricians, plumbers, and any other helpers to make sure that they understood the architectural drawings and what needed to be done a particular way. When the project was complete, they sent representatives to check and make sure that everything was finished to our satisfaction.Throughout the entire process we could feel their passion for our projects. We recommend Eurocucina, Kay and Fernando for any project in your home. They are awesome and if we need any other redesign, we will bring the project to them!”

She nailed all of my ideas on the first try! I had a small, poorly designed kitchen where I wanted to maximize storage and counter space and she delivered. “This hardware store is a gem.

A little more than a year ago I purchased an art deco period house in Miami Beach and began a major year+ renovation project. I spent endless hours looking for what I needed at an Ace Hardware store in South Beach, or driving an additional hour round trip to go to a Home Depot in other parts of greater Miami, until I found Central Hardware.

Central Hardware soon became my go-to one-stop hardware store. The team there is knowledgeable and helpful, and while the store does not look particularly large from the street, it is well stocked with floors full of hardware goods, a complete paint department, and a wide-ranging inventory that a shopper might not expect in a neighborhood hardware store. There is also a large public parking lot right out the back door, which is the best way to enter and exit the store. I have done a few spot-checks on items to compare them with a couple of other stores, and found Central Hardware's pricing to be very competitive.

For overall selection, assistance, pricing, convenient location in the middle of Miami Beach, ease of parking, and the neighborhood feel of the store, Central Hardware has become my preferred local source for most of my supplies and tools.”

“Ask for pump for lotion at register! In the store, I asked why the pumps are separate from the lotion bottles & was told I’d be given one after purchase. However, once I was home (45 min drive) the woman had not provided the pump. This was a gift and I didn’t want the recipient to not have a pump with the lotion. I called to request they mail one to me, four different employees said no, they could not do that. FINALLY, a very kind, professional, employee named Angie said she would mail one to me, no problem. Angie not only mailed one, but three pumps. I appreciated her willingness to accomodate my request, saving me time, gas, and great inconvenience of going back to the store.
