I took an introductory class and I really liked the vibe so I wanted to join. I had an add on Facebook that said I can join for $99. The representative told me they no longer have the special. I told the gentleman I will wait for another special. I got another special recently and I’m traveling at the same time so I told the person I can join but I need to start when I get back which was fine. I was told to hay the min I need to be a member is 2 months in the beginning. I have all this in text that I can also post. Also the add says I get a free heart monitor and the person said I need to pay half, then the person said it’s probably another branch and I sent the add with the phone number of this branch. They don’t even know what specials they are running. It’s the second time they don’t honor their own adds. Honestly the class had a great vibe but I don’t want to do business with people who are dishonest and as I read through other comments it seems that many people have the same issue. So maybe they need to be better trained so you don’t get people upset and lose customers so easily. Maybe I was going to be a customer for life.

I got tricked into signing a contract without knowing about the cancellation fees. Definitely not cool, and definitely not the kind of fair business practice I expected.

Staff is rude and arrogant. Music sucks and they don’t even let you put one headphone on while doing tread. Instead of Instructors paying attention to how an exercise is done so you don’t get hurt, they focus on being a kindergarten teacher. I’ve been with Orangetheory for over four years and this is the first time I’ve ever had such a horrible experience and been treated like a child

I have been a member of Orangetheory for 6.5 years and I have been at the Aventura location for 3, since moving to Miami from Atlanta, Ga. The head coach Karina is great, she is very on brand with OTF and very passionate about what she does. There are other coaches in this studio who are great as well. My only criticism for this studio is that they don’t have the updated treadmills like most other Orangetheory studios have but that is not a fault of the staff working. I do highly recommend joining this studio if you’re looking for a great community and quality fitness regimen.

I spoke with someone on the phone who was very rude and not welcoming. It made me never want to attend this studio.

I’ve been a member of OrangeTheory Fitness Aventura for more than a year now and go consistently (6 times a week), and I love it! I can’t say enough amazing things about this studio!I’ve been to a number of group fitness studios around Miami (Aventura/North Miami), along with the Miami Beach area. The two areas are drastically different! And we’ve gone to a few different OrangeTheory locations since joining and I have it say this is by far the best group fitness studio in the Miami area! You can try your first class free, as long as you are a local to the area and haven’t tried a class before. You must arrive 30 minutes before class as you have to fill out paperwork, and be advised from the front desk staff about how the workout works and the various zones, and be introduced to the coach. The coach intro section takes around 10-15 minutes in itself. I saw some reviews about various people being turned away or the front desk team having attitude, and that’s not ever been the case at this studio. If you’re complaining about the staff’s “attitude”, you need to put a mirror on yourself to look at your own attitude because this studio wants everyone to feel like family. And during the workouts, you get out of it what you put in. If you don’t go in there and try, and have a positive attitude you probably won’t have a good workout. The workouts are all so unique each day, and challenging, and over a year, my health and fitness has improved and I’ve gone from 165 pounds to 145 pounds (losing all my COVID weight), and that’s thanks to the fitness regime and better nutrition. So I can’t thank the front desk team enough, they’re all amazing! And the coach team for pushing me to do things I didn’t think that I could before! Thank you coaches Karina, Elba, Bibi, Alex, Amber, Katie, and Trina- they’re all amazing at what they do.

I gave Orange Theory a go for about 4 months leading up to my wedding, and I did I get hooked! I was all about those early morning classes, and let me tell you, I was loving it. I got myself into some pretty decent shape real quick. The music was always really good and it was hard not to sing! Now, let's talk trainers. These people were awesome. I visited other locations in Florida and in Massachusetts and this location - the vibes were on point. Here's where the challenges started- and it's not really their fault - but the whole pushing yourself to the "orange zone" deal? I went too hard and I injured myself. Don't get me wrong, the trainers are doing their best but when there's like three different workout cycles happening at once, even the best can't watch everyone like a hawk. I had to switch gears - went for some one-on-one training and a bit of physical therapy to get back in the game and I haven't returned to OT. If you workout with extreme caution I think this could work for you.

I joined just over a year ago, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The science-backed, heart-rate-zone workouts deliver incredible results as long as you do your part and put in the work. You will get stronger, faster, and more heart healthy—while having fun doing it. Coaches Karina, Elba, Alex, Bibi, Jay, and Amber are the best in the business, offering all their knowledge, motivational wisdom, and personalized coaching to help you make the most of your workouts and smash your goals (bonus: they're truly amazing people, too). The entire front desk staff is warm and welcoming, and soon you'll feel right at home when you show up for your workouts. Friendly and supportive members also help create a great vibe. The studio holds regular social events for members, so this can be more than a gym if that's what you're looking for. And if not, just come and enjoy the best workout for your buck.
