LONG WAITS FOR SERVICE. Irrigation system installation in 2023 went well, but response times for service have been long. The latest example: I called on October 11th to request repair of a dislodged irrigation intake line that they'd installed in 2023. No response, so I followed up with calls on October 14th and 16th. They finally responded on the 18th and scheduled me for the 21st. They then called on the 21st to reschedule for the 22nd. They called on the 22nd to say they could not come out today and did not know when they'd be able to fix the intake line. I wasted 11 days and have been unable to water 1/3 acre of lawns and shrubs stressed by the storm. This was not the first
or even the second time I've had this type of experience with Edgewood.
Sod installation in 2023 was fair, except some grass died within a few weeks. They replaced most of it but left a lot of the edges ragged.
Regularly scheduled fertilizer and herbicide treatments have been reliable and effective.

Not just a grass trimmer company. Total service business it is known for. Sod excavating irrigation and so very much more.

Do not hire this company! They're supposed to cut the grass in the apartment complex I live in. They do an absolute horrible job, they leave a mess everywhere they go, there is no attention to detail whatsoever. They do whatever they have to do to blow through it as quick as they can and get out of here. The apartment management don't care because they don't live here. They would probably be better off hiring a 12-year-old with a push mower who would probably do a much better job! So much for taking pride in your work...

Disheartened to have to write this however they did us wrong. They did work for us two years ago and their work was timely and acceptable. However, recently the company missed scheduled appointments, did not followup to reschedule, misrepresented their pricing, and made commitments they did not honor. I discovered the pricing offered us was 2x the real cost; why? because they employ subcontractors and simply markup their services. We learned not to trust the folks at Edgewood because what they lack character, credibility and integrity. Get it in writing and find an alternative. You will save yourself much hardship...

Sooooooo, after eighteen years with the same landscaper, my Condo Association decided to make a change. The old folks were doing a great job but a bid that was several tens of thousands of dollars cheaper annually made the difference.Hurricane Ian threw a monkey wrench in the works. All the big stuff had been cleaned up but there was still thousands of little twigs and leaves that needed to be mulched. Thus, the mowers were set up for a mulch mow. I thought it came out pretty darn nice! See my picture. It may take a couple of more mulch mows before we get back to normal. Our landscaper is also responsible for shrub trimming and tree trimming. It will be weeks before we see the results of those efforts. I'm going with three stars for now simply because I haven't seen the results of upcoming work. I'll revisit over the next year or so.
