I love this cute little country store and the family that owns it. I’ve been going there for over five years now. The first things I fell in love with were the front porch/swing and their Homemade Orange swirl ice cream ? Then their fruit wines and mixes ?. This past year or so I’ve participated in some parties under their huge barn (they even offer services to help with your party ?) and at the back of the store, omg! it’s huge back there to set up some tents for parties or cookouts and even a small platform for a band!!Ya gotta go visit and check it out! At least to get some of that delicious ice cream ?and chill on the porch. Love it love it love it!?

Growing up in this small town we didn’t have a lot to look forward to. Now that I live a state away every time that I come back home for vacation I have to stop by and get some ice cream. Even if you’re passing through come and get some don’t let this gorgeous southern store go unnoticed.

What a cute country store, if you love oranges like me, this is your place! We tried their famous orange ice cream, very interesting soft serve, they have tons of orange jams, chutneys, candies, wines, postcards, gifts, honey, souvenirs, gator chocolates and that deliciously addictive Honeybell delicacy, trust me, just get one! Going back soon for more Honeybell delicacy and maybe that mango wine too.

We went to Maxwells last year and had a great experience! Just visited today and wow. The lady behind the counter was incredibly rude and impatient. I feel that if you are dealing with elderly people that are in the area you need to be more patient, especially when we were the only people in the store. I understand people might have bad days but after reading other reviews it seems that this lady has more bad days than not. I am very disappointed. The orange Ice cream was great as usual! Wish that the service was better.

Not worth the drive. Fruit bins empty outside. What little bit they had in back didn't look very appealing. Everything overpriced. Lacking in charm and ambience.

no question, orange ice cream is still my fave here...everytime we drop by and have a cup of ice cream, the previous owner always welcome us with smile. But not the lady in the counter these days who seems so unhappy and grampy serving us and the other customers... not appropriate attitude for a business owner. Just saying.

Kind and welcoming staff. All kinds of candy, orange and grapefruit jams in bulk. The back of the store and their specialty soft-serve soy cream with orange is a delight.

Fun place to stop, buy delicious fresh fruit, and enjoy a treat. Learned a lot about the orange groves and history of the area. Wonderful family run business. They are also on Harvest Host/Boondockers Welcome.

Very, very poor customer service. The woman behind the counter clearly does not like people. She was rude to the group in front of us as well as our group. Will not be returning.
